Incy Wincy Designs Challenge # 83 Die Cuts or Punches

Morning everyone, well here I am posting again for you! Mondays are a 'MAD POSTING DAY' for me, all the challenges seem to start on a Monday! Oh well, at least it gives me the rest of the week to hop around to all of those of you the join us on Incy Wincy Designs!

Well this is my first post for Incy Wincy,  As you may know last week they asked me if I would like to join their DT, I am so honoured that they chose me.  So onto this week's challenge, we are sponsored by

and the prize is a set of Die Cuts.

Here is a bit about Peggy;

I'm lucky enough to be a retired grandma who spends the day working with my vintage card collection. My husband and I have shared almost 37 years together and we have 2 sons and a daughter and 2 glorious grandkids that turn 4 and 7 in May.

I started collecting Vintage Greeting Cards quite by accident. I was helping with an Aunt's estate sale and ran across her Vintage Greeting Card collection. The images on the Vintage Cards were so bright and cheerful that I just fell in love with them. As my collection grew and provided such joy and entertainment for me, I knew that others would get as much out of them as I did. So I decided I'd share my collection thus, the birth of PeggyLovesVintage.

Each card is carefully scanned at a 600 dpi resolution and saved in .jpg format. I only scan cards that are free of any copyright restrictions. I keep each and every card, so if any question ever arise I can provide documentation that this is truly the case.

Special software is not required to use my images. If you have printed out a picture from a digital camera, it’s pretty much the same concept and just as easy. Of course if you are so inclined, and if you do have imaging software, you can clone, cut and paste and even change the colors on the image.

The possibilities are endless, so please take a moment and visit my web store by clicking below or copy and paste the link into your browser. So sit back, relax and enjoy your journey back in time.

Please if you have time pop across to her shop and see the beautiful images she has! Well onto my creation for the week, I struggled a bit this week as I feel my little bug has gone walk bouts again, but I managed to create something! I used Centura pearl Card for all the backings, the scalloped circle was cut with my nestabilities I thought this image was lovely for Mothers day so I have created a mothers day card!

I printed the image twice so I could layer it, I could have done with more layers, but I know for next time! I used some rhinestones round the edge of the scallops to add some detail, i did also used a sanding block around the edge to break the colours up a bit, you can see that clearer in the picture below!

Well I hope that I have inspired you to join us this week at Incy Wincy Designs, why not pop over and take a look at what the rest of the team created! Their cards are just beautiful!

Thanks for taking the time to look!

hugs

xxxx
