Top Tip Tuesday - Valentines Day!

Morning all, well here we are another week of 2012 has gone, I can't believe how quick this year is going! Feels like only yesterday I was here wishing everyone a happy new year!

Well the house is moving along and we have the boiler man in! We should have the new boiler in and working and new rads by Friday - I'm sure I will keep you posted on that one!

Im here with the challenge for this fortnight  over at TTT! This week were looking for

Valentines Day Creations

Yes its coming to that 'romantic' time of year where many will say I love you and most will say I will! I have never been a big fan of Valentines Day, Its a strange one to me!  But I have made a card for the man I love and I will share it with you soon!

Our sponsors this week are;

One lucky Random winner will win 7 Digi images for their choice

1 Lucky winner 4 stamps of their choice!

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More is proud to sponsor this challenge.
Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More, a division of I Did It Creations, was created and is
owned by Robyn Weinrib. Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion.

We have some FAB guest designers from Bugaboo, and our COE Winner Colin joining the team this week! I hope you will pop over and see their fab creations, also the AMAZING tutorial from Bettina! Please Please Please go and check it out!

Firstly I would like to introduce you to Elizabeth J, She is from Make It Crafty and I love her to bits! She is one of those that look harder than what she is and you LOVE to colour!

I must apologise for the next photo! I have taken it five times and I can't seem to get it any better! I need to find hubbies camera and charge it up!! I used so much stuff that I had forgotten about, the fab backing paper is from SU, the flowers were buried in a draw that had loads of paper in it! I also used the TH clock die, TH Adage Tickets that were distressed using TH vintage Photo and my copics and prismas to colour her!

You can see here why I was so chuffed with myself when I finished her, this photo was taken before I distressed the background but it looks even better now!

Copics;
R59, R46, R37 - Dress
E37, E35, E33, E31 - Hair
C0 - Gloves and Stockings
B05 - Eyes
E02, E00, E000, R20- skin and cheeks

Black prisma to add detail to the skirt brushed over with Zest Oil.

I used a SU tool I found to distress the edges of the paper, I love that little tool! Making so much use of it at the moment! I then used TH FireBrick and Vintage Photo to distress! I also distressed the SU backing paper with TH Vintage Photo!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Card Cupids - valentines
Catered Crop - Newsprint
The Crafty Pad - Valentines
Make It Colourful - Shade With Reds
