A Christmas Anything Goes

Good morning - I know it has been very quiet here recently - too quiet I know- I am sorry but I have been busy - I firstly had some commitments that I needed to take care of and then I had to have a clear up - so anyway I know your thinking - what commitments? well I have been lucky enough to be offered a DT spot at Christmas at Sweet Stampin - I was over the moon when I received the e-mail I couldn't quite believe that I had been chosen to work with such a talented bunch of people!!

So I really hope you will take a look around here at my creation and then pop over to the challenge blog and take a look at the amazing creations from the DT.  The theme for this challenge is

Anything Goes

and we have some wonderful sponsors

and a set of Promarkers from Letraset

So now you have seen the grate prizes on offer let me share with you my creation for this - now I am so far behind with everything this Christmas I think with the mojo running it just did not help but suddenly it came to me to make a special gift for Miss A's teacher.

I used one of the beautiful angels from Lili of The Valley - I have had her for a few years now and every christmas she has to make an appearance! The papers are Bazill Basics Believe stack - I have had to purchase another stack this morning as the papers are just so lovely.  My favourite has to be the kraft colour with the snowflakes! I also went round the edges with TH DI to soften the look.  I also used a few nesties on this project - normally one is my limit!

She was coloured up with copics and then die cut with my nesties.  I added some TH DI around the endues to soften it and keep the theme going through! I also added stickles to her wings to make her sparkle.  Now I guess your wondering why I think this creation is so special?!?  Take a look at the inside.

Yep I have made a little candle box for Miss A's Teacher.  I am somewhat impressed with it - I have to say I did take the long route with it though! plus with loosing track of time with it all it took me a lot longer than I expected.  once again the papers on the inside are from the same stack as before.  The candle box was one that I made a couple of weeks ago that I have stuck down using silicone.

I just had to add a sentiment on the inside and so I chose one from a Personal Impressions set called 'snow is falling' I purchased a while back - I die cut it and then added more DI around the edges.  Well I hope you like my creation I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

Lexis Creations - Christmas
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Totally Stampalicious - Anything But A Card
Top Tip Tuesday - Christmas

Thanks for stopping by - I do hope you will join us with this challenge at Christmas at Sweet Stampin! I can't wait to see your creations! If you have a moment I would love to know what you think! Hope to see you soon

For A Special Little Girl

Good morning! Well the BIG NEWS - finally we should finish the girls room today - the carpet is on its way and they should be back in there tonight! Whoop! you all know what that means - I should have a craft room soon! Yeah!!!!! I'm hopeful to speak to daddy nicely as he is off work on Friday to install me a desk and then I can start getting my stuff up there and in place! I can't wait!

Anyway back to why I'm here! I recently had to set my Facebook page back up - and when I did I had A lovely lady contact me asking for a custom order - she really wanted a card I had done but wasn't sure as the image had dark hair and her daughter had blond hair - I told her not to worry and leave it with me - re-coloured it for her and she was over the moon - the challenge was when she asked for it to be an 8x8 - it has been so long since I have done an 8x8 I panicked - but after lots of strops it came together

It took me ages I had to pick it up and put it down on so many occasions - but I came back fighting every time!! I used the lovely 'make a wish; from Sugar Nellie, she was coloured with copics and I added stickles to her wings as well as some liquid pearls.

For the first time I used some ribbon sliders - **TIP** as they were plastic I coloured them with copics so they tied in with the rest of the card - I will be doing this more and more now - so nice to have all the elements coordinating!

Lots of dies came out to play too - Im so LOVING my dies at the moment, every letter was cut with the Quickutz squeeze 'Daisy' font - Its my all time favourite!!! Well I hope you like her! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Craft Room Challenge - Punches and Die Cuts
Our Daily Bread - Christmas
Top Tip Tuesday - Kids + Tip (please see above!)

Thanks for stopping by, if you have a moment I would love to know what you think! Hope to see you again soon!

Something New

Good Morning! Well It has been a few days since I posted - I have had a poorly Miss A and then me with toothache! Yesterday I managed (with thanks to Mr B) to get myself to the dentist and get the tooth sorted! So starting to feel better other than rather bruised today - but before the tooth started I decided to try something a bit different - I have made some wine glass charms

I don't know what made me do them - suppose it was something that I can do sat on the sofa with hubby and watch TV and not make loads of noise (he huffs and puffs when I make noise and he is watching TV!) I have to say all in all I am rather impressed with them!

I have done about 20 of them - some are for my family for Christmas day and some are going to be sold - I have a table at a local care home on December 8th and so I wanted to have something different to offer this year!

Well I hope you like them - they were so much fun to make - I would like to enter my charms into the following challenges;

Crafty Bloggers Network - Christmas Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Anything Goes

I hope if you have a moment you will let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by- see you soon

How cute it the donkey - its from one of the WOJ christmas sets I have - I do love him he looks so cuddly and cute! and I have a few other plans for him too!!!

This is the back of the decoration

So pleased with how its turned out - plus I now have a few orders and Miss A would like some for her special friends at school!! so busy busy times - I hope you like it - I hope if you have a moment you will let me know what you think!

This is Wish Upon A Star from Sugar Nellie available here - she is so cute and so lovely to colour.  Now it has been a long time since I have done an 8x8 but I was asked for one - it did take me a while to think and plan but I got there in the end,  I coloured the image with copics.  I also used lots of different die on the card! Im here to share with you today what has to be one of my favourite Winter/Christmas images of 2012 - the gorgeous Winter Fairy Halla from Mo's Digital Pencil - It has been so long since I have coloured a Mo image - so yes it took me longer than I hoped but I am so pleased with the results

Evening! How are you all today? Well I have been nursing a poorly Nancy - she once again has croup need to see how she goes over the next few days - not what we needed!  Well I spent some time yesterday looking back at this time last year and I can't believe that in 2 days time it will be a year since I announced that we were finally moving!  Where has the last year gone?? Anyway back to what I'm here for! I am trying to squeeze in christmas cards as and where I can - well in-between my Halloween madness this year!  But I appear to have gone a bit crazy!

Yep I am now colouring Christmas cards with green skin - it has well and truly taken over me - thats for sure! This is the strangely cute Fa-La-La-La-La Lexi Digi available along with her friends from Simply B Stamps.  Now I coloured this up a while ago - but it was SO much fun!!!

The perfect Pair

Good Morning! How are you today? Well I have been running around all morning and have decided to take five minuets for me! If your here for the SBS Secret Release Hop please scroll down below this post!

Ok so I have been silently making Christmas cards - I think this year I think I will just be making cards for special people - I don't think time is too much on my side this year! So speaking of special people this card has been made for two very special people (I SO hope she doesn't see this!) My sister and her Fiancé - Theres under 18 moths now till they will be tying the knot!

So I would like to introduce to you
Nutcracker Christian and Sugar Plum Fairy Lola

I think they are so much like my sister and her Fiancé - Nutcracker Christian remeinde me of a drummer boy (thats what tom does - he teaches the drums) and my sister is a ballet teacher!

Now both of these were from a set of limited release digs from Simply B Stamps - They are no longer available but keep checking back - cause you never know!!

Now I coloured them up once as a couple and they looked good but they needed something more - trawling through my digs and I couldn't resist matching them up with a background form MIC!

The image was coloured with copics and the papers and embellishments were from my stash! It took me a lot longer to do that I really wanted it to - but I'm so please with the end result! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Crafty Bloggers Network - Anything Goes
Challenges for Everybody - Anything Goes
Ippity Challenge - Christmas

Thank you so much for stopping by - I would love to know what you think! Hope to see you again soon!

Dude…..

morning all! Some of you have patiently awaited this post!I was meant to do it two days ago! Anyway how are we all today - rather chilly here!!!

Ok so onto the card this is using one of the FAB releases from Simpy B Stamps - now there are only 6 days left to get these before they will be discontinued!!! Quick grab them while you can!! !

Last week while sat at my grandmas I had one of the 'light bulb' moments! you know sat there - not thinking about crafting at all and then 'PING' so I had to get home as quickly as I could! I had coloured the image up the night before and I suddenly had an idea that he should move!!
What a better way for a snowboarder to move than down hills??

Yep - not quite sure what you would call this style of card… but he is on a piece of invisible string and he moves about! I think he took longer to cut out than he did to put together!  I think this card was mostly inspired by the challenge over at Simply Challenged Challenges!

I also pulled out the good old quickutz…  oh I'm so glad I didn't sell it a few weeks ago! It has been so useful recently! Well I hope you like him! I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges;

Simply Challenged Challenges - What was that?

If you have a moment I would love to read what your think - your comments are what keeps me creating!!! Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!
