Happy Birthday Dude!

Afternoon, well the ball is rolling here and were in full christmas mode!  So much to do and so little time!! I am making so many gifts this year - only cause I can!!!  ANyway I'm here to share with you a card I made for a friends little ones birthday a few weeks back.

The little guy in question never fails to put a smile on my face, he comes over and likes to 'collect snail shells' from my garden as well as dig holes in places.  He is never forgets a thing!  For some reason when I saw this image it made me think of him!

Isn't he just adorable!  I kind of think its the sort of thing the little guy would do is catch a frog too! He is from Pollycraft  - unfortunately I don't think he is available anymore - so glad I have him on file as he is perfect for any little guy!! The image was coloured with copics and the papers are all scraps from my stash.  The 'Frankie' was cut on my cameo - His little face was a picture when he opened it and saw his name on it!  I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
7 Kids college fund - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by, If you have a moment I would love to know what you think!

Yep, anything with stars on.  We are so looking forward to seeing you creations and I'm hoping that I may inspire you now!

I don't know when or where I brought the paper I have used for this challenge - but it was perfect!

I used some glitter card from my stash and mounted the paper onto it

When making my card I was singing 'twinkle twinkle'… yep mad I know but then it inspired me to write this little verse that is on the front of the card.

I thought it fitted very well! I die cut the wording and then brushed the edges with one of my ink pads.

I hope you like my card! I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Dude…..

morning all! Some of you have patiently awaited this post!I was meant to do it two days ago! Anyway how are we all today - rather chilly here!!!

Ok so onto the card this is using one of the FAB releases from Simpy B Stamps - now there are only 6 days left to get these before they will be discontinued!!! Quick grab them while you can!! !

Last week while sat at my grandmas I had one of the 'light bulb' moments! you know sat there - not thinking about crafting at all and then 'PING' so I had to get home as quickly as I could! I had coloured the image up the night before and I suddenly had an idea that he should move!!
What a better way for a snowboarder to move than down hills??

Yep - not quite sure what you would call this style of card… but he is on a piece of invisible string and he moves about! I think he took longer to cut out than he did to put together!  I think this card was mostly inspired by the challenge over at Simply Challenged Challenges!

I also pulled out the good old quickutz…  oh I'm so glad I didn't sell it a few weeks ago! It has been so useful recently! Well I hope you like him! I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges;

Simply Challenged Challenges - What was that?
Art Impressions - Fun & Games (Sports)
Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Snips and Snails

If you have a moment I would love to read what your think - your comments are what keeps me creating!!! Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Cameoflage JoJo

Morning, oh what a week, the weather has been awful - hence why not much computer or crafting time! then I thought I had a chilled morning only to find that Amelia had ballet... oh well.  Now this is going to be a quick post as we have 101 things to do today and there is not enough hours to get it done - two orders to finish as well as get the stock together for next weekend!

Last week Amelia and Nancy had a birthday party to go to, I had to make the card pretty quick, all I could think of was camouflage.... And so (I apologise for the photos - they do not show it very well at all!) this came together...

Yes it was all a bit rushed and as I say the photos make it look rubbish! But i wanted to share him anyway!
He was coloured with copics and the paper was from online somewhere!

I think the best bit was the cheesecloth that I coloured to match the paper, I was pretty impressed with that!
Anyway I best crack on - hope to have some bits to share later/tomorrow or even next week - See you soon!

Surfs Up!

Afternoon! Ewww what another grey horrible wet day! I can't believe that every time the kids break up for holidays here is rains... Not much we can do with the weather though! Anyway I'm here to share another creation with you! I have been trying to make my cards a bit different and I cam across the lovely Life Guard Christian from Simply Betty Stamps - Now I wasn't sure what to do with him at first and so I decided to purchase the lovely Beach digi from Make It Crafty.  Now I have never tried colouring a whole scene before and so I was very surprised with myself when it turned out like this....

Ok so I could do with wokring on the sky and sea a bit, but not bad for a first attempt if I do say so myself! I used so many different colours I can't remember what ones though!

I love the colours that I used for his top and shorts, i think they may have been BG15, BG13, BG10 - I will double check that one a bit later!

I used papers form my stash, mail just 12x12's and Kraft.  The ticket stamps are from Whimsy stamps and the charms are just from my stash! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Sundays With Chrissy - Tags and Tickets
Cute Card thursday - Water Water Everywhere

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Get Well Soon...

Morning, How are we today!?

Well been busy again tonight, made a Get Well Soon card.  I don't often make them as I don't like too... Plus they are normally very simple and floral decoupage.  I saw this stamp over at whiff of joy before Christmas and just couldnt hold on any more!! I just had to get him!!

He is just the cutest!! The thing is he could be a birthday card or a get well card.  I coloured him using my copics and my spectrum noirs for his skin (I keep trying them but still not sure!)

The papers are all from my stash and some even from the scraps!

Well I hope you like him, sorry its a bit of a short and sweet post, got a lot happening here at the moment...

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Clearly Inspired - Anything goes

Hope to be back soon

Dead Men Tell No Tales...

No No No... I haven't gone crazy... well I hope I haven't, maybe I have! This is part of the sentiment on todays card!! I coloured up this fab Pirate from Tickled Pink last week and my little helper (Amelia) couldn't wait to get him on a card!!

I have to say he is kinda cute!!! This is Little Pirate Frankie from Tickled pink Stamps.  I brought him a while back and found him in the 'to colour' box of images.  He will be printed off again rather soon!! I made this card for a friends little boys birthday, he turns 8 at the end of Feb, I can't wait to give him the card now!

Turning 8 is such a big thing, they don't want fussy cards so I kept this quite simple.

The papers are from my stash, The small 'map print' is Su paper that I dreaded cutting into! but its over now and I feel that I can now use some of the paper at least!! The PIRATE paper was from my local craft shop, I brought it ages ago, and finally found a use for some of it!!! I thought it had worked quite well the way PIRATE sits along the bottom, I couldn't resist 'Dead men Tell no Lies' up the side of the image!!

i coloured the image using my copics and for the life of me I can't find my notebook.... I will edit tomorrow as soon as I find it!!!

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Memas Crafts - Anything Goes
Creative Card Crew - Masculine
Digital Tuesday - Use your Stash
Paper Take Weekly - black, White and red all over!
Kaboodle Doodles - Masculine

Thanks for stopping by, I would love to hear what you think! Hope to see you again soon!!

Happy Birthday....

Evening all, well been a strange day.  Both girls are poorly and so we have stayed in all day! The girls have had fun colouring with me though! They have both been sat at the table with their pencils, Amelia with one of my digs, Nancy with her colouring book and we have had hours of peace and quiet! Their friends came over to play and then at 5 it started to snow! I can't wait for tomorrow!

I have been trying hard to work on cards for men and boys, I have so many images that I can use for them but then I never get round to it! OK I always make excuses not to! So today I tried and I tried and I still need to do some work but....

This is the adorable Splashing Toby from Some Odd Girl.  I have had him for ages, but never got round to colouring him! Today I have surprised myself! Im so happy with how he has turned out! but not so keen on the card, Its lacking something and I'm not sure what!

I can't remember what pens I used... As the kids were at the table I kept my pens as far away from them as I could... Amelia did ask at one point if she could use my skin pens, I told her NO! She's only 4 1/2!

I have made this card for Amelia and Nancy's friend who turns 3 on Thursday.  Thats what made me finish this otherwise he would have been sat in the draw for a year waiting to be mounted! I used my QK bubble die and Moxie alpha to do the letters and bubbles! The number is just a peel off! Toby was die cut from a set of nesties I have!

i would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Allsorts - Free and Easy February
Send A Smile For Kids - Anything Goes For Kids
Ditzy Challenge - Anything Goes

Thanks fro stopping by and hope to see you soon!
