Good Morning - Well its got sooo chilly here!!! Had Miss A's Parents evening last night she is doing really well at school so very proud! Been busy trying to come up with more than just cards and I have so many ideas now I don't know where to start!!! So I'm here to share with you one thing that I have created!!!

I was having one of those blank moments and had an image that I had coloured and didn't know what to do with it - so with going through my scraps I came up with a little decoration! Perfect for the tree or for the wall - and whats best about it - it can be personalised on the back!!

How cute it the donkey - its from one of the WOJ christmas sets I have - I do love him he looks so cuddly and cute! and I have a few other plans for him too!!!

This is the back of the decoration

So pleased with how its turned out - plus I now have a few orders and Miss A would like some for her special friends at school!! so busy busy times - I hope you like it - I hope if you have a moment you will let me know what you think!

Hope to see you again soon

Oh my I have no idea as to what planet I am on! Yesterday I new I had something to do and forgot! Now I remember what it was! LOL!!!

and the prize up for grabs is two digis from the shop! WOW!!!

So now I need to tell you the challenge - This week we want to see you using

KRAFT

Now I LOVE Kraft - the colour, texture I just love it and as Elizabeth Bell is the sponsor I felt I had to use an image of hers this is the lovely Little Nurse available here - she is just so adorable! I love colouring her!

This is a card I have made for Amelia's fried who's birthday is in a couple of weeks! I used my spellbinders large circles and large scalloped circles, the papers are all from my stash and the butterflies were punched using my MS butterfly punch available here.   I alos got my Quickutz out again - its been sitting for so long but so good to use it again!!! As the letter 'n' was lost I used Rhinestones to jazz it up!

The image was coloured with copics available here.  I love how she turned out and I think im starting to get to grips with getting a 'shine line' on hair!

I just love these butterflies, perfect for any card! Well I hope you like my card, I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Mr & Mrs

Good Morning! How are we today? Well the sun is shining and well its a good day for me, washing on, Nancy playing quietly, waiting for my food shopping to arrive, will get that away and then chill a bit I think.  marks out in the garage... Ohhh and I'm waiting on my new flowers to arrive.

Anyway, I haven't been up to much, more wedding cards intact, felt like I have been on a roll.  I have to say I have learnt a very valuable lesson in the last couple of weeks.... Plan before you colour.  It makes such a difference.  I think where years back i used to do a lot of classes and everything was decided for you... I dint ever have to think, and from those classes I would buy the papers and stamps act and make the same thing over and over, now things have changed, and its only thanks to certain blogs and people that I have had the courage to try and learn!

This is the beautiful Whiff Of Joy Wedding Carriage Stamp.  I purchased it from a friend a while back and have never had the get up and go to colour it! You can purchase it here.  The paper is a digital I purchased from Etsy - the service from this company was amazing, it was here quickly and the number of designs in each set... well. and there are so many beautiful designs!

The image was coloured with copics I put all my pens away before taking notes, I can't wait to get my new pen storage sorted but that won't be till I move into the craft room!  The Mr and Mrs stamp is another Whiff Of Joy - I think I purchased this with the Bride and Groom.  The flowers were from my stash before Nancy decided to 'water the flowers - I'm loving my flowers at the moment and I'm hopeful to share my new storage for those with you later today! Thank you for stopping by, if you have time I would love to hear what you think! Hope to see you again soon!

Get Well Soon...

Morning, How are we today!?

Well been busy again tonight, made a Get Well Soon card.  I don't often make them as I don't like too... Plus they are normally very simple and floral decoupage.  I saw this stamp over at whiff of joy before Christmas and just couldnt hold on any more!! I just had to get him!!

He is just the cutest!! The thing is he could be a birthday card or a get well card.  I coloured him using my copics and my spectrum noirs for his skin (I keep trying them but still not sure!)

The papers are all from my stash and some even from the scraps!

Well I hope you like him, sorry its a bit of a short and sweet post, got a lot happening here at the moment...

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Clearly Inspired - Anything goes

Hope to be back soon

Mmmm Red Shoes....

Evening all, well its been a busy day, decided that retail therapy was the way forwards.  So want a pair of red glittery shoes after my little project last night! but retail therapy was struck down when I had to collect paperwork from the solicitors! After lots of phone calls and discussions between me and numerous others - It looks like were moving next week! 4 days before Christmas! Got so much to think about now, to prepare and arrange and so this is probably the last post that I will sit here and wright, I do have some posts scheduled and so I hope they will appear, and I will try and get on to fill you all in when I can!

Well onto what I managed to create last night after the stupidly long post on here, I browsed various challenge blogs and came up with some ideas.  I had a little hunt around and found a stamp that had slipped to the bottom of the draw, its one of the November releases from Whiff of Joy, Ok so it was the website that reminded me that it was there! This week at the WOJ Challenge blog there is a wonderful sketch by Karina!

And from there I managed to create a card from start to finish! Makes a change for me, have spent so much time recently just colouring due to lack of 'crafting goodies' available, and so I made do with what i had, it shows how much you get used to the 'nice' things you have, such as my big shot, there have been so many occasions recently where I have thought 'i'll just cut that' and I can't as I have no dies and no machine at the moment! Anyway enough waffling!

Yes you can no see where my 'sparkly red shoe' idea came from! As a child at christmas I thought of nothing better than having red shoes for christmas, I never remember having red shoes for christmas, I remember being told to wear my school shoes with my dress so we could go to the pub for the 'Christmas drink'.

There is my card, I hope you can all see the sketch in it! I decided to use some ribbon on this card as I have a bit here! The sentiment is also a WOJ stamp.  The papers and ribbon are from my stash.

Here she is up-close, I wanted to keep her as simple as possible, i tend to start off well and then end up colouring it all in, but on this occasion I managed to get it pretty much how I wanted it, I used topic pens to colour and didn't think to note what ones I was using, I was on a roll though! I was so happy with the way she turned out, even more so now that I look at her more and more!

There is the up-close of the sentiment, I did go a bit crazy with stickles last night, I wanted this card to have quite a bit of sparkle on it! I mounted the stamped sentiment onto green bazzill stock and rounded the corners just to soften the edges a bit, as I had used a scalloped edge 8x8 card.

Here is an up-close of the ribbon bows I made, i cannot tie bows for the life of me, and so i make these cute ones! Normally when I want bows I get mum to do them so I make sure she is here when I need her! She is quite ill at the moment and so i haven't seen her for a few days!

I hope you like my creation, i would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Whiff Of Joy - Sketch
Belles and Whistles - Lets Sparkle (lots of sparkles added!)
Hooked on Craft - Christmas
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Outlines Monday - Shiny and bright

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon! If you have a moment I would love to read what you think, look forward to seeing you again soon

94 Days.... Thats not enough!!!

Morning all, well it has to be said, there is only 94 days until Christmas.... That means I need to be making 3 cards every day to make sure they are all done, now i'm sure its not going to be that bad, its just I NEED to find the bug! I have loads of bit half done and some are for Amelia for school so she can do them...

Well I have managed to do one in the past couple of days but I am finding that I am becoming somewhat critical about what i do an how i'm doing it, I never find my stuff good enough, but then again I did have someone run up to me in Tesco this morning and tell me they need cards for their wife. So from now on... what i create is what it it, it will never be to everyones taste, but i have made it and that is that... OK lets get on with what i'm here for!

Ok so this stamp is from the Whiff of Joy set- Come let us Adore him,, I had been looking for it for ages and came across it on e-bay, I believe it is available from Simon Says Stamp - I love this set, I love Whiff of Joy Stamps!!! They are lovely to colour!  I used a charm from my stash and the twine is from Crafty Emma's I thought its FAB for christmas!!!

I have coloured him using my copics, I watched a you tube video from MIC about creating folds and creases in images, it was completely by accident that this has turned out the way it has, I coloured it in about 20 mins, while hubby watched the end of the bikes! I was so happy with him I couldn't stop smiling and I had to share it with a  few people!

I wanted to used a different sentiment but it didn't look right so I used one from Lili of the Valley, I punched it out and then ran it through my cuttlebug embossing folder! I ten dabbed the top with tim holtz distress ink!

Well I was quite happy with the way it turned out, I dread to think how many more i need to make, so on that not i would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Anything Goes Challenge - Anything Goes
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Stamp With Fun - Anything Goes

too much time to think....

Hey all how are we today?!!?
Well I have been un well with serious back pain the last four days, everyone is blaming the dancing from saturday night, but i'm not sure!!! it has given me a lot of time to assess my self and my crafting.

Last week, while frantically out on school and ballet runs as well as entertaining two children bathing them feeding them and making sure they we ok I started to doubt my crafting... did I have tie to craft??  Did I want to craft???  I spent hours looking at my stash, thinking to my self well I could get rid of all of it and then I would have a lot more space in my house.

Then since Sunday I have had no option other than to sit down and relax, I started to go through all the photos on the computer and then I came across a number of cards that I started a while ago and have not long finished and then I thought to my self, I love crafting, its my time for me, i'm not giving it up, I just want to learn to create different things, become more experimental with what I create and be more daring.

So my new missions are to start now.

Im sick of rushing things 'just because' so now my aim is to take as long as I need to on a project or creation.  If I want to sit and colour all day I will and if i want to try something new I will.  Today as I have been at my mums I have spent the morning colouring, Im about to have a browse on the net for something new to try, if anyone has any suggestions....

But I will leave you with this creation that I finished just a couple of weeks ago...

I made this using some stunning card from the Paper mill and my new stamp kit from Whiff of Joy, I'm so looking forward to the next kit, its very exciting!

Thats me over and out for now.  I hope to be back later with something new!

Pear Tree Designs Challenge #42 Mothers Day

Morning all, well had a busy night last night catching up with bits, well trying to catch up, I think I will be running in circles for the next month trying to get on top of all this stuff! Oh well, i'm keeping busy and thats the main thing! Silly blogger decided to play up last week, so thats why there is not posts from last week, but I will catch up this week. Its a busy and exciting week!

Im here with the challenge at Pear Tree Designs this week we are looking for the cards for the Mum's, Mummies or maybe even Grandmas and Nannies! so that means the theme for the week is

'Mothers Day Cards'

With Mothers Day just around the corner were looking for the cards you have made for them!
I have 6 to make in total as I make one from me and hubby and then one from the kids, oh the joys!

This week our sponsor is

If you have time please take a look at the shop, some lovely digis over there!

Onto my card for this week.  I have used the stunning new stamps from Whiff of Joy Spring Stamp kit, I was so happy when this came through the door, but I didn't have time to play before going away, so you can imagine how eager I was when I got home!

I have used the adorable little Honey Honey stamp from the kit, she is so adorable. I love the expression on her face, she looks so pleased with herself!

I used a kraft card blank for the base of my card, the papers I have used are from my stash I know that the green one is a Bo Bunny paper, I have had it sat there quite a while thought.

The flowers are from various places, the lilies are from my local craft shop, they are made from foam but look so stunning, the big purple rose is also from my local craft shop, the smaller ones are from e-bay.  The beady bits are from The Works, they are £1 a pack and you get loads in them! I must go and stock up on them this week! I used silicone glue to stick them down as you get time to move them about.

The punch is a Martha Stewart lace punch, I punched both sides of the paper, lining it up from the middle out.

I coloured the image with pro-markers (they enjoyed their break away from me!), but I was rushing so I have no idea as to what colours i used.  I cut the image using a nestie and left her feet in (OK so i cheated and drew round the nestie and cut it by hand!)  I then used a sponge and green ink around the edge.

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges

Catered Crop - Child Stamp, Border Punch, Spring, Ovals
The Crafty Pad - For the Mum's
Creative Cow Girls - Spring or Easter

New Stamps!!!!

Ok so a while ago I purchased some new stamps from e-bay, i'm totally obsessed with Whiff of Joy at the moment, I have an order on its way to me and cant wait to get creating with it! I cant wait to get my hands on all the lovely new releases they have released from the spring stamp kit! ohhh they make e smile.

Well back to the set I have now! I purchased the Whiff Of Joy stamp set #4 Christmas Blessings! It was the little donkey that drew my heart in, I was even more surprised when I opened the set to find project ideas inside! as you can imagine I wouldn't wait to play and so I stamped a few times and then tried to create a scene!

Well I was very impressed with myself! Everything lined up quite well, with the help of my stamp-a-maj-jig!
I coloured using my pro-markers and the used a SU dabber with Archival sepia ink to distress the background!

What do you think?

This is an Item I am trying to sell on e-bay, so I have made it just as a topper, we will wait and see!
