Penguin!!!

Morning! So sorry I have been so quiet - just not had the hours in the day to create, blog and be mummy! Its that time of the year when we are sick one after the other and so as many of you know family have to come first at a time like that.  Anyway when I have had the time I have been creating and I have LOADS to share with you over the coming week(s)!

Today Im here to share with you a commission I did using the adorable Penguin with Gift from Mo's Digital Pencil.  Now this has to be one of the easiest Christmas images I have ever come across and is so much fun to colour!

The papers were all loose in my stash so I can tell what company they are, the image was coloured with copics;

T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T7
YR
G40, G42, G46
R35, R37
BV60, BV000

The snow was created using some snow I purchased from That Craft Place (Oh how I LOVE that shop!) The snowflake die cut is from memory Box - not used my dies as much this year since having the cameo - all the words were done on the cameo. I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Game Boy turns 18

Afternoon folks - well how cold and wet is it where you are - I can't believe how changeable this weather is at the moment - bright sunshine one moment and overcast raining cats and dogs the next….  Plus with the clocks changing Miss A and Miss N are being horrors and getting up at sill o'clock!!!

Anyway I'm here with a quick post today - I was asked by a good friend to do an 18th Birthday card for her boyfriend - she came and chose the image she wanted and left me to the rest :)

I used the fantastic Video Boy image from Mo's Digital Pencil - she said it looked so much like him!  The image was coloured with copics - as I did it in such a rush I completely forgot to note what colours I used!! The papers were all from my stash - if I remember rightly its a Teresa Collins one - but I have no idea what the name of it is!  The little flags, letters and the 18 were cut on my cameo and mounted on some shaker tape to add some diminution to the finished creation.

Well I do hope you like my creation - he was fun to colour :)
If you have a moment I would love to know what you think!

Hope to see you again soon

Cold Fairy

Afternoon - Don't be shocked - 2 posts in one day - its been a while since that has happened but I so wanted to share this with you!!!While browsing about blogland the other day I came across the most beautiful card from Sandra you can see her work here - but I couldn't believe my luck when I found out I could purchase the template to make one myself!

So as you can guess I just had to have it.  Now mine is no where near as amazing as Sandra's but as soon as it was here I had to print it and have a go - all was going well till I tried to stand it up and - well it wouldn't stand - so after the stomping of the feet I decided to turn it into this….

A hanging decoration - now there will be plenty more of these made as I have so enjoyed making this one.  You can't really see but I have added detail to each petal on the flower and stickles around the edges.  I have also added some lovely 'frosty looking twigs' from That Craft Place.  The image is Winter Fairy Talva from mo's Digital Pencil and she was coloured with copics.

Well I hope you like her I would like to enter this decoration into the following challenges;

Mr and Mrs

Quack Quack, yes I'm learning duck as I feel its only appropriate for this weather, at least if I were a duck I would enjoy this dam rain! I was hoping to take Nancy out today to celebrate the last day before she starts nursery tomorrow but I'm going nowhere in this weather! so I think I will have to try and get crafty and get her involved today!

Anyway I'm here with a commission on a wedding card, I couldn't believe it when my friend asked me to make another Cadburys purple wedding card just like the one I did a few weeks ago.  I said I would make it but it would be different to her one.  Then I stumped my-self, how was I going to do this on? I had to spend some time searching the internet for sketch ideas as I wanted this to be different... and then I cam across this sketch at Mojo Monday

It took me a while to think about it as the design looks more 6x4 or 5x7 and I was working on an 8x8... but I did it!

Yes I think I managed to do it - It took me a few hours of moving stuff and thinking but I did It! (Slightly annoyed that i have missed linking this up :( Oh well!) The image is from Mo Manning - I love this one for weddings - so elegant!  The image was coloured using copics, the flourish is from the hobby house and the circular sentiment is from Lili of The Valley.

Well I hope you like my creation, I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Wedding #2

Afternoon! AGAIN! WOW I'm getting good at this posting stuff again! Shows Im kinda keeping busy! Well not much I can do with all the brick dust floating around my house at the moment, oh and the noise! I think tonight will be the night to enjoy peace and quiet, just hope the kids come home and settle!

Well yes I'm here with another wedding card.  My friend wanted to to make one and I have made a couple for her to choose from before I personalise them for her!

This is the beautiful Bride and Groom from Mo's Digital Pencil, I love this image as it can be done in so many colours and can look modern and classic all at the same time!

The theme... Cadburys purple, that makes me dream of eating a nice bar of chocolate now! Must behave, need to shift some of these calories! The image was coloured with copics;

The flourish is from The Hobby House, I had to order more, they are just so easy to use and you can make 4+ cards from a pack... and they look better than the ones I do!

All the flowers were from my stash, I added some stickles over the top to add some sparkle!

The sentiment is from LOTV and the bell from my embellishments! I hope my friend likes it and the bride and groom! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Wedding Day #1

Afternoon, oh what a day, it looked so horrible outside this morning, I had to have the lights on to take photos and then since about 3:30 the weather has been beautiful, we even got to see the sun! I know shock horror, best not get too used to it!

Anyway my friend asked me last week if I could do a card for her for a friends wedding in a few weeks, she wanted something really personal, something special and left the door open for me! So i started hunting and I came across this lovely image is from Mos Digital Pencil, I was so happy when I came across this. although I did have other plans too!!!

So yes she did set me the colour theme, Cadburys Purple, all i could think about was chocolate while making this card! I coloured the image using my copics;

E000, E00, E02, R20, R83
E51, E53 (Male hair) E47, E49 (Female hair)
G05, V17, V15
E41, C1, W2, W3, W5

I was so happy with how the image had turned out.  Thought I got Cadburys purple pretty much there!

A wedding card wouldn't be a wedding card without flowers... so yes I raided the stash, its been a while since I added some of these beauties... I must use them more often!

and of course I had to add a flourish from The Hobby House, I do love these and I think I will have to get some more! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

On Your Wedding Day

Evening! Well at last the evening has come! I don't know who invented these school holidays but were not even on day one and I'm already thinking roll on them going back.... LOL! NO I love it really just been hard today as the weather has been so cold and horrible and so we have been stuck inside all day! Now I apologise for the state of one of the sentiments on this card, as its still wet so it looks pants, but it will look good once its dry!

This is a card I have made for a friends wedding we are going to tonight, its all kind of been last minuet as to getting sitters for the kids, so I didn't manage to start this till an hour ago... and then just to top it off.... I ran out of paper, good job I managed to get it right 1st time!

This is the beautiful Bride and Groom from Mo Manning, I have used this image a few times, its so nice to colour for a wedding card as its so simple.  The image as coloured with copics and spectrum noirs;

Copics
R24, R22, C0, C3, C5, C1, E41, G05

Spectrum Noirs
FS2, FS3

The circular sentiment is from Lili of The Valley, It looks blue at the moment for all the glitter on it, but once it dries it will look fine... I just hope it dries in time! I have added the details of todays date so they will always remember! The other sentiment (you can see on the 1st photo) is a Whiff Of Joy - Just felt this needed more then 'A Special Day' on it!

The white around the image is from a bouquets of flowers that I brought 'to me love from me' a while ago, there flowers were 30p and had loads of the material in it, so I thought it was worth it! The bunch of flowers were still alive a week later too!!

The flowers are just from my stash and I added some glitter to them too! I couldn't match the colour too closely so the tie in more with the paper but still feel they look good!

You may be able to see on the photo below the glitter on her dress, using the stickles I just added some down the folds just to add some dimension! I have to say for a card done in less than an hour... I don't think its too bad!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Patties Creations - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
Creative Monday's - Anything Goes

Wishing You A Magical Birthday...

Afternoon all, well haven't I been a busy bee, lots of posting the last couple of days, Im trying to get everything done before I go away!! So looking forays to the break....

This is another card I made a couple of nights ago, it was the other one Amelia had to choose from.  So this will now go into my 'stash' box! I used the lovely Make A Wish from Mo Manning.

I just love her, she has been in the 'stack to colour' for weeks and just not had time. I wanted to make her a bit more simple but it went wrong, so out came the darner colours!!

I added some stickles to her dandelions just so they looked pretty! She was coloured using copics, I didn't make any notes, this time! It ind a slipped my mind, I seem to just be able to sit and colour and thats it!

The grosgrain ribbon was from my stash and the sentiment if from Lili of the Valley. The papers are from my stash too! I love the blue hearts... The other side of the paper is a bit wind though!!

I hope you like her! I would like to enter her into the following challenges;

Catered Crop - Ribbon
2 Sisters - Spring Colours

Remember I have my candy HERE... Please feel free to take a look.  Thanks for stopping by!

If the Shoes Don't fit....

Wear them anyway... That is what I was thinking all the time I was colouring this little beauty from Mo Manning - I saw her while searching for another Mo image and just had to have her!

Meet Big Shoes...

I have sat for hours trying to work out what papers and this is one that I felt fitted the best! Its one from my stash, no idea what brand! The flowers are from my stash, the flourish was made by hand (I must buy me some of those pre done ones!) the sentiment printed from my computer and the colouring was done with my copics and spectrum noirs!

The lace and ribbon were dug out from my new storage!! Im quite happy with how she has tuned out!

Copics; BV01, BV11, V17, R22, £r4, R27, BV29, 100, E37, E35, E33, Y15

A bit of Mo with a Dash of Tim

Afternoon all, I apologise for how quiet it has been here, I have been ill and so have the kids, at last the energy is back and i have managed to make a couple of cards!! I have been waiting in all morning for the gas man to come... still no luck! But at least he hasn't disconnected the old boiler, so I still have heating and hot water!

Onto what I have managed to do.... Well my 1st aim was that i was going to make  a small card... Ha ha ha, I can't seem to make smaller than 8x8 at the moment! I don't know what has got into me! I used an image i coloured last week using a colour combo on the make It Crafty Facebook page!

R29, R27, E27 (I used E29 as I don't have E27) and W7....

i brought this stunning lady last week from Mo Manning, I have seen her about loads and just had to colour her! At 1st I wasn't too happy with how she had turned out but after people commenting on just seeing her coloured she has frown on me! And I'm using the colour combo more and more!! here is is a bit closer....

The rest of the stuff used was my stash, the paper is one that I had loads of scraps of and just used them up, the red was a plain bazzill.  Her skin was coloured using E02, E00, E000.  Im loving my flowers at the moment, I know you don't tend to put flowers on a male card, but they kinda just went with this one!

After LOADS of searching I caved in and brought the TH Odds and Ends tickets to go with the die, I have searched for ages trying to find others that fit.  A lot of people had said they didn't like the wording on them, but I kinda like them.  I didn't cut these with my die as I need to find my adaptor plate to use it, so I cut it by hand!

Well I hope you like my card! Quite impressed with how this has turned out! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Cards For Men - Valentines Day
Crafty Boots - Valentines Day
Make It Monday - Anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop back soon!
