Two Hearts

Gooood Morning… Oh man I'm on a roll! Had a strange weekend - productive but not so at the same time! LOL - so I started on a card and then became stuck… and so was the card! and this morning it just came to me!

This is the beautiful Lavinia Outgoing from the Classic Collection Steampunk's 2  from Simply B Stamps - I purchased her a while back and have never had the nerve to colour her - I admit that I nearly have up when I first started but so glad I didn't!

I die cut the image and then used my SU distressing tool followed by Tim Holtz inks.  The rose is from a ribbon I have stashed away and I added some lace that I also distressed using my Tim Holtz ink.  Booth the tag and the clock are cut from kraft card stock using Tim Holtz dies.  The charm and the corner are from my tin!

The image was coloured with copics;

E000, E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E21
E33, E35, E37, E47
YR03, YR17
R59, R89

Now onto what I was so proud of myself for! I used a brad on the clock hands so they would move! This was inspired by a challenge over at Simply Challenged Challenges

Well I hope you like my card! I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

Challenges for Everybody - Anything Goes
No Matter Which Challenges - Die Cuts/ Punches

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

You are Truly Appreciated…

Afternnon - How are you - WOW what a change in weather we have had - once again! Its steaming hot outside - kids are out playing and well I'm inside doing what I do best - washing, tidying, (blogging), shouting, cooking, and more cleaning (Ohhh and colouring but shhhh!)

So yes Im finally once again ahead of myself and my oh my do I like the feeling - got so much still to do with Christmas fast approaching! But - I will get there.

So a couple of weeks ago the wonderful Betty had a fab offer in the shop - if you spent over a certain amount you would get a free image from a future release! and so yet i couldn't resist and so I made a purchase an Oh my the free one is beautiful!

This is Anthea - She isn't available yet - but I suggest you keep your eyes peeled over at the shop for when her and the rest of the release are available - remember you will see previews over on the SBS Blog! or you can join us on the Facbook Group here

So after sending her out Betty decided that she was going to run a challenge for us all on the FB group using this image! So I just HAD to join in! The image was coloured with copics - I coloured her on the sofa one night so I have no idea as to what colours I used.  The papers are all from my stash, I also used my SU Distressing tool and my Th inks! The flowers, pin and cheesecloth are all from my stash.  The sentiment is from Tickled Pink - I purchased the thank you sentiments ages ago and stashed them away!

Well I hope you like my card! Thanks for stopping by - I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Sugar and Spice and All Things Nice
Simply Challenged Challenges - Ink Em Up (used Ink after distressing)

Thanks for stopping by - hope to see you again really soon!

How are we today? brrr is been very cold here!

Over on the SBS Facebook Page there have been a couple of 'Tumblin' Buddy Swaps' they have always look FAB! and so I decided that I would join in with the third.

I was fortunate to be paired with the AMAZING Betty.

I was kind of nervous about what to send her, I just hope she likes what I sent.
Now due to post being slow she has had to send me pictures of what is in my box…
no word of a lie I sat here for 20 mins just staring at it!!!

You can see why I am sat at my window every day stalking the postman and willing him to deliver this to me!!!! I can't wait! Well now you need to hop to Michelle's blog to see what she received! Happy Hopping!

October Thirty First….

BOOOO! I know I didn't really scare you - but it was worth a shot!

How are you all today? Well I finally have the mojo back - slowly but surely its all falling together - and Im no longer chasing my tail! Yep creativity is running free.  Yesterday I was sat here and I had a 'light bulb' moment - you know when suddenly you can see what you want to create and you know exactly HOW to create… and so I decided that I would use my idea!

Now this has not been the easiest to photograph as the front is acetate hence why its quite a dark photo!   I purchased a set of stamps last week from e-bay (never been too big for halloween but now I kinda LOVE it!) My Minds Eye Lost and Found Halloween - they are SO SO funky and I have so many more ideas with them… I don't know if I will ever stop!

Meet the FAB Wrapped Up Rio

Now I think it looks FAB.  In both the top corners I stamped the spiders web, I HAD to use the potion bottles too so added them in the bottom corner - as a sentiment I went with 'Halloween - October Thirty First' - I so love the stamps and the papers too - they are from the My Minds Eye 6x6 Paper Stack - there are so many lovely papers in that pack - may have to grab another one!

All the designs on the front were stamped onto the acetate using Stayz On oh and my trusty anti-static bag! I forgot how useful the bag was - Now as you can imagine it was pretty hard to try and line all the stamps us on the acetate and YES I made a few mistakes hence why I have a little tip for you

**If you find that your not happy with your stamped image on acetate - remember you can always use Acetone Free Nail Varnish Remover to remove the image - Always make sure you wash the area after with a damp cloth**

She is SO FAB and I can't wait to colour her again! She was coloured with copics

E000, E00, E02
YG03, YG17
E33, E35, E37
W2, W4, W5

Well I hope you like her - I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Hugs to all

Monster Mash Party Hop!

He did the mash, He did the monster mash
The monster mash, It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash, It caught on in a flash
He did the mash , He did the monster mash

ohhh sorry didn't see you there - I apologise for the awful singing! LOL

Yes that is all I have been singing for about three weeks now - thanks to all the wonderful ladies (and the important gentleman) over at Simply B Stamps Fan Group on Facebook! - I hope your here for the

'Monster Mash Party Hop'

Ok so if you have come from the wonderful Olivia the you are on the right track, if not then hop over to the Simply Betty Stamps Blog and start from the beginning!!  Its going to be SO worth it!!!

So the hop…. Now, the only thing we had to follow was it HAD to be halloween themed! Well I don't often do halloween but I think I am learning!

This is the adorable 'little Pumpkin' from the Jude and the Rockers Halloween Bundle - she is just SOOOO adorable (I so want to squeeze her cheeks)!!!

Now I do have some halloween papers on order - but snail mail is acting as it tends too when I NEED something to arrive - still waiting! LOL so I had to use some Digital papers - now I don't normally like them at all but I played a bit cleaver with this creation and sized all the papers up on the screen and printed it to fit my card front!

The image was coloured with copics

E000, E00, E02, R20
E50, E51, E53, E55,
B100
G05, G07
YR15, YR16, YR68

You can't really see but I don't like the sheen to digital papers - so I used some 'spray and shine' over the to to make it look a bit nicer! It did make such a difference!

The sentiment is from the set too and my added 'spiders web' in the corner was just a PNG from google!

Well all in all I was quite impressed! I hope you like her! I would LOVE to know what you think! so if you have time please let me know! Now you need to hop onto the VERY talented Trudie! Now I hope you all have fun along the way!

Hope to see you again soon

Big Hugs

You Rock!

Afternoon! Well I have been on a bit of a roll! Not quite sure what to do with myself at the moment, got so much to do but don't know where to start and so I finished a card!

So as some of you may know I quite like my Simply B Stamps at the moment! I love them - just wish I had more time to get more coloured up and finished! Seem to go through phases where I can do it and then i'm scared the next - some of the images I find quite challenging!  but last night I sat here and well...

I think it so ROCKS!!! Yes I'm happy, I'm impressed with myself and I feel like shouting it from the roof tops!!! I cant believe how well this image has coloured up!! This is thanks to Zoe and the wonderful books! Yes I will keep going on about them for a long time I think!

Ok so this is Andy from Teen Scene Glam Rockers.  I love this set I have a few of them coloured up and I now feel like I could finish them! Hopefully very soon!!!

I used some of my paper from SU and then used peel offs to write 'You Rock' - a little tip for some of you

** I have always loved the look of paper being torn from a pad - I achieved this look by using my bind it all to add the holes and the cutting into the holes with my scissors**

Now how much of a good idea is that?? OK some of you may now be thinking 'crumbs where has she been the last decade' LOL!!!  The guitars were cut from Theresa Collins paper I have had stashed away for goodness knows how long and the other paper is Theresa Frost - Vegas Night Life - again been stashed for a long time!!! The image was coloured with copics;

E000, E21, E11
R24, R27
B91, B93, B95
C2, C3, C4, C5
V01, V04, V06
Y08

Well I hope she has rocked you too!!   I would like to enter this card to the following challenges

Top Tip Tuesday - My Tip Above
Eureka Stamps - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by - hope you will come back soon!

I was chuffed to bits when I was asked to be here today! I couldn't believe it! and then I decided that I was going to 'try' and be cleaver and 'make' him move - well I think it kind of payed off!  The image was coloured using copics - Now since I have been suffering with the tooth while doing most of these recently I haven't taken notes!

I thought he needed to look like he was on the track and so I drew it in with pencil and then coloured it in with the pens.  I then added the sky in using pens too! Well Im so glad you have stopped by, now you must pop over to Lea and her fab creation!

It only seems like yesterday I announced I was pregnant with Nancy let alone shipping her off!

Surfs Up!

Afternoon! Ewww what another grey horrible wet day! I can't believe that every time the kids break up for holidays here is rains... Not much we can do with the weather though! Anyway I'm here to share another creation with you! I have been trying to make my cards a bit different and I cam across the lovely Life Guard Christian from Simply Betty Stamps - Now I wasn't sure what to do with him at first and so I decided to purchase the lovely Beach digi from Make It Crafty.  Now I have never tried colouring a whole scene before and so I was very surprised with myself when it turned out like this....

Ok so I could do with wokring on the sky and sea a bit, but not bad for a first attempt if I do say so myself! I used so many different colours I can't remember what ones though!

I love the colours that I used for his top and shorts, i think they may have been BG15, BG13, BG10 - I will double check that one a bit later!

I used papers form my stash, mail just 12x12's and Kraft.  The ticket stamps are from Whimsy stamps and the charms are just from my stash! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Summertime Bliss, With London

Good Morning! How are we, well its another tray day here in the UK, and i have a poorly big girl... What is it with my children and bugs?  I wouldn't mind but they are on vitamins at the moment and they are doing no good!

Anyway, I felt like a lucky sausage earlier in the week.  I kept seeing the GORGEOUS up and coming release from Simply Betty... now they are SO cute! I just couldn't wait, lucky for me I found out that Betty was going to do a quick pre-release sale, OK so I think I missed the very 1st one but spoke to her nicely... and so...

Yes this is adorable water balloon London, I just love the look in her eyes! she looks like she could cause trouble with that balloon! She will be available from Friday over here.  I tell you I can't wait to share the rest of the crew!

I coloured her using my copics, as it was late I didn't take notes, I have actually started to add posts here and saving them with the colour combos on, just so i know I have saved them, I was so impressed with how she turned out!

The sentiment, Whimsy Stamps Summer Letter Seals, I SO have to get some more of theses, they just seem to fit with everything at the moment! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
