Happy Birthday Boy...

Not as bad as it sounds, and I hope and pray he doesn't see this before the weekend!

As some of you may know my Husband is also known as my Boy...
Yes he was only 25 when we met, so still a boy .... now xx years on well... I still call him Boy!

I had to make him something that made me think more of when we met, you know go back on the years!
He is very into Motorbikes, on road or off road, he used to have a road bike, he took me on it one day... and yes it was a once only thing..  as when I got off I hit him very hard with my gloves!  It was scary....  I was used to bikes where the rider would sit up in front of you (protected my chest!).. and he had a blooming sports bike!

OMW I have never been so scared in my life!  Not long after that evening we decided to book a cruise, that was 2006 when we spent 14 nights on P&O's Arcadia, just before we went he sold his bike, thats what paid for our AMAZING holiday! I think part of the reason he sold the road bike is the he did and still does LOVE being off road, as you can let loose, there are no ties and your not at risk of using your licence!

So yes making this card took me back to when we 1st met.  I used the lovely image Biker Girl available from Kenny K, I purchased the image ages ago, I have printed it before and never been able to colour it, It has taken me all day to do it, OK so I have done other things in-between, but its quite a detailed image that needs focus... well for me!

It turned out to be an A4 card as I printed the image slightly too large.  yes one must pay more attention to what size we print!

It scared me a bit... as A4 cards need a lot of work but this wasn't too bad!
I coloured the image up on and off since about 10am, by about 4 I finished!  I even used washi tape for the tyre tread... I will have to load a photo of that to show you a bit later (its signed and sealed!)  as I was AMAZED at how it turned out! She was coloured up with copics, and I didn't take notes due to the little monkey trying to use my pens! I was putting them strait back in once I used them,  Nancy is a nightmare with them, she tries to feel my Copics to the fire... Must train the child!  The banner was a free template I had sat in my folder and just resized and my little sister ddi the writhing for me! She works at a shop that she does fancy weighing a lot!!!

Anyway enough reminiscing and nattering, I need to go to bed!  Before I go I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

This is a really cool card, I love the way you have coloured in the main image and embellished the rest of the page. All the hard work you put in this A4 birthday card was worth it.

My husband loves bikes as well, I have never been brave enough to go for a ride with him, I would probably end up hitting him as well if I ever did :) :)

Thanks so much for entering your card at Anything goes, Just keep on creating. I hope you will keep on playing along :)
