Happy Annivessary

Evening all, well its been a busy day in the Benton household! We had 'messy church' this morning, I will have to take photos of Amelia's creations and share with you, it was really nice to see some old friends - including Paddy (the vicars dog) who acted as the donkey today!! Have also spent quite a bit of time in the garden, scraping the weeds from in-between the paving! Oh the joys! I have moved the table and chairs to the bottom of the garden as it seems much more sensible (and i can get to my craft stash while in the garden LOL!!)

Well Mum, Dad and Kathy have been over for a BBQ this evening (let dad cook the BBQ!) and mum said that she needed an anniversary card for a last minuet order that came in this evening! And so little old me decided to help... Well I didn't have much more to get on with, so after an hour on the computer we came across a beautiful decoupage that suited just what she needed (oh and me as I need to make an engagement card!)  So I purchased, downloaded, printed, cut, stuck and glittered a decoupage for the 1st time in AGES!!

Isn't it just beautiful! I enjoyed cutting it out too.  I just had to make the pearls real on the front.  They look a lot deeper than they are, its very hard to take photos at night in the house and so I have had to take just one!

You can see that I also added some stickles to the flowers just for added sparkle.  I have to say this one will be done again and again, I have a few reasons to use it as there seems to be a number of weddings this year as well as a few engagements! Oh 2012 has to be a good year!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Dream Valley Challenges - Wedding/Love
Sketchy Colours - Pink/Cream
Come And Get It - Spring (Spring colours in the flowers)
