Digi Chooseday - For the boys

Good morning!! Hope your all well and not feeling the cold too much!! Anyway thank you to everyone that joined us last week for the last challenge at Digi Chooseday! we had some fantastic entries!! So we have a new challenge this week, the team have some fantastic inspiration over on the blog so i do hope you will pop over and take a look :)

So the theme for the challenge this week is

For the Boys/Anything Goes

It been another fantastic week for inspiration from the DT, I do hope you will pop over and take a look at their creations!  So this week I have gone with the 'For the Boys' side of the challenge - a bit out of my norm!!  Girls are so easy to create for and buys… well yes I find them very awkward!! Bit this week i have managed it!!

I have used the sweet Sugar Boys Download Bundle available here in the store.  The card was designed on the computer suing my silhouette design studio - I'm really enjoying making cards like this at the moment.  I decoupaged the owl and his eyes out a bit to add more depth - the button is also from the bundle. I added a little bit of ribbon from my stash to the back of the button before I stuck it down :)

Well I do hope you like my creation and that I may have inspired you to join us over at the challenge blog this week :)  Looking forward to seeing your creations :)

Now this is another celebration that we don't have over here - I have never really heard much about thanksgiving so this was a bit difficult for me.

I Apologise for the photo - the battery went on the camera and it decided to take all the time it could to charge.  The image is if from The Stamping Boutique I coloured it with copics

E000, E00, E02, B32, B34, R24, R27, W2, W4,

Monster Mash Party Hop!

He did the mash, He did the monster mash
The monster mash, It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash, It caught on in a flash
He did the mash , He did the monster mash

ohhh sorry didn't see you there - I apologise for the awful singing! LOL

Yes that is all I have been singing for about three weeks now - thanks to all the wonderful ladies (and the important gentleman) over at Simply B Stamps Fan Group on Facebook! - I hope your here for the

'Monster Mash Party Hop'

Ok so if you have come from the wonderful Olivia the you are on the right track, if not then hop over to the Simply Betty Stamps Blog and start from the beginning!!  Its going to be SO worth it!!!

So the hop…. Now, the only thing we had to follow was it HAD to be halloween themed! Well I don't often do halloween but I think I am learning!

This is the adorable 'little Pumpkin' from the Jude and the Rockers Halloween Bundle - she is just SOOOO adorable (I so want to squeeze her cheeks)!!!

Now I do have some halloween papers on order - but snail mail is acting as it tends too when I NEED something to arrive - still waiting! LOL so I had to use some Digital papers - now I don't normally like them at all but I played a bit cleaver with this creation and sized all the papers up on the screen and printed it to fit my card front!

The image was coloured with copics

E000, E00, E02, R20
E50, E51, E53, E55,
B100
G05, G07
YR15, YR16, YR68

You can't really see but I don't like the sheen to digital papers - so I used some 'spray and shine' over the to to make it look a bit nicer! It did make such a difference!

The sentiment is from the set too and my added 'spiders web' in the corner was just a PNG from google!

Well all in all I was quite impressed! I hope you like her! I would LOVE to know what you think! so if you have time please let me know! Now you need to hop onto the VERY talented Trudie! Now I hope you all have fun along the way!

Hope to see you again soon

Thank you Mum and Dad....

Afternoon, how are we all today?
Well been busy here getting orders finished and started and swimming lessons with my big girl! So proud of her! She swam the length of the pool today (hubby thinks 20-25m)- not that I didn't think she could but she did so so well!!!

Anyway I'm here to share a card I have made for a friend, she wanted something to say thank you to her mum and dad for all their help and support with her wedding thats coming up in a few weeks time.  Now she wanted to keep it in with the theme of the wedding and so I came up with this

I love this couple from Tiddly Inks called You and me available here, they are just so adorable and wonderful to colour.  The papers my fried helped me purchase from Karens Scraps, absolute bargain price! and downloaded strait away making life so easy!

The image was coloured with copics;

E0000, E00, E02, R20
C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, 100
E40, E41, E43
E35, E37, E27, E29

So happy with the way the image coloured up! and I just had to finish it with the 'dots and lines' around the edge.  Well I hope you like my card! I would like to enter it into the following challenges;

Cameoflage JoJo

Morning, oh what a week, the weather has been awful - hence why not much computer or crafting time! then I thought I had a chilled morning only to find that Amelia had ballet... oh well.  Now this is going to be a quick post as we have 101 things to do today and there is not enough hours to get it done - two orders to finish as well as get the stock together for next weekend!

Last week Amelia and Nancy had a birthday party to go to, I had to make the card pretty quick, all I could think of was camouflage.... And so (I apologise for the photos - they do not show it very well at all!) this came together...

Yes it was all a bit rushed and as I say the photos make it look rubbish! But i wanted to share him anyway!
He was coloured with copics and the paper was from online somewhere!

I think the best bit was the cheesecloth that I coloured to match the paper, I was pretty impressed with that!
Anyway I best crack on - hope to have some bits to share later/tomorrow or even next week - See you soon!

My Grafico - Graduation

Good Morning everyone! Happy Jubilee Weekends all round I hope! How are we all?
WOW another week has gone and no the kids are on half term, can believe I'm about to let Nancy start going to nursery next week! Its only seems like yesterday that she as born!

Im here with this weeks package over at My Grafico.  Now this was a bit of a tuff one for me as I have never really done graduation cards before! And so it was a challenge...

This is Graduation Marci from LaLa Land Crafts, I just fell in love with her and had to have her! she was coloured using Copics;

Skin and lips - E000, E00, E02 R20 R83
Clothes and shoes - 100, C0, C1, C4, C5, C7, R29, R37
Hair - Y21, YR12, YR14, E15, E18

here is a little close up!

I have to say I think she is so cute, and Im impressed with how I coloured her up! I finally feel like my colouring is going somewhere now!  I added a little bit of rolled up paper with a small ribbon to look like a scroll, yet again another things I have always wanted to try and never have!

I used three of the papers from the pack and I can't wait to use them again, especially as a friend of mine gave me a 'gentle' nudge that she hopes to graduate soon! Before I go I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

One Stitch at A Time - Use A Digi
Catch The Bug - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon

Mr & Mrs

Good Morning! How are we today? Well the sun is shining and well its a good day for me, washing on, Nancy playing quietly, waiting for my food shopping to arrive, will get that away and then chill a bit I think.  marks out in the garage... Ohhh and I'm waiting on my new flowers to arrive.

Anyway, I haven't been up to much, more wedding cards intact, felt like I have been on a roll.  I have to say I have learnt a very valuable lesson in the last couple of weeks.... Plan before you colour.  It makes such a difference.  I think where years back i used to do a lot of classes and everything was decided for you... I dint ever have to think, and from those classes I would buy the papers and stamps act and make the same thing over and over, now things have changed, and its only thanks to certain blogs and people that I have had the courage to try and learn!

This is the beautiful Whiff Of Joy Wedding Carriage Stamp.  I purchased it from a friend a while back and have never had the get up and go to colour it! You can purchase it here.  The paper is a digital I purchased from Etsy - the service from this company was amazing, it was here quickly and the number of designs in each set... well. and there are so many beautiful designs!

The image was coloured with copics I put all my pens away before taking notes, I can't wait to get my new pen storage sorted but that won't be till I move into the craft room!  The Mr and Mrs stamp is another Whiff Of Joy - I think I purchased this with the Bride and Groom.  The flowers were from my stash before Nancy decided to 'water the flowers - I'm loving my flowers at the moment and I'm hopeful to share my new storage for those with you later today! Thank you for stopping by, if you have time I would love to hear what you think! Hope to see you again soon!

Two Tutus for Grandma

Afternoon all!
How are we today?! Well been busy again and hope to find some time to chill out soon, but until then I must keep going!! Thinking about a nice glass of pink fermented grapes tonight... think that will wash away the day nicely, although have to be careful, busy busy day again tomorrow... have a meeting at the church for Messy Church in a couple of weeks, so looking forward to it! Amelia has a birthday party and then it will be tea, bath and bed for them!

Well today is my Mother-In-Laws Birthday! She is out having a wonderful day by the sounds of things! They have gone on a steam train to Plymouth and back... so we won't get to see her today and Im hopeful she won't get time to look at the internet till tomorrow afternoon - after we have given her the card(s)!

Im here to share with you the card I have made from the girls for her.
I have to say I'm quite please with the way it has turned out... well till Nancy got her hands on it!! (yes she is now in the dog house!)

The paper is one that I downloaded from the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine.. I love this little online mag, you can find it here.  So inspiring I keep going back to it time and time again, well worth signing up!!

Here they are... Two Tutus... They are so sweet, I brought the image for Amelia to make a card for her friend - they had an argument and she wanted to tell her she was sorry!! But I couldn't resist colouring it for this card, think I made the colours a bit dark but I still think it looks good.

They were coloured using my copics and the edges were distressed using TH ink pad.

I used the paper on the inside but made it slightly faded.  I got the verse from the internet.  I did change some of the words from I to We as its from both of the girls!

Heres the corner of the paper up-close, how stunning!! I know I'm going to whimsy stamps and getting some of the other papers in the collection, I can see them being used LOADS!

I didn't feel the card needed much more! I just hope my Mother-In-Law likes is!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Crafts For Eternity - For A Special Mum
Crafty Catz - Special Lady
The Poodles Parlour - Birthday
SJ Paper Crafts - Flowers

thanks for stopping by! Remember I have candy here, please take a look!
