Creative creations Challenges - Less is more

Good morning! Were back again - thank you to everyone that joined in with the challenge over at creative creations Challenges!! Some wonderful entries - although we are now a 'just for fun' challenge we still have a top three as chosen by the DT so pop on over and take a look!!! 

So this challenge is a bit different… were looking for your creations that have as little as possible on them… the theme is 

Less is More

I have decided to join in with team B this week as this is a creation that I have not shared with you yet! I had seen the idea around quite a bit on pintrest and decided to give it a go myself…. 

It was very simple to do - I just cut the tape into lengths and stuck them down, using my big shot I die cut the sentiment and mounted it on sticky pads, a nice and simple card!!! I think I will be making a few more of these very soon for various occasions!!!  I do hope I have inspired you to join us this week over at Creative creations, pop over and take a look at what the rest of the team created :)

Creative Creations Challenges

Good Morning!! 

Al cylinders are firing here this morning, I think most people's little ones have gone back to school - mine have an 'inset day' so one final day with them!! Not sure what to do with the weather being so grey and horrible!!!  Anyway I'm here this morning with the first challenge of 2014 for Creative Creations challenges - we have had a few changes so pop over to the blog and take a look at whats new!! 

So we have a nice easy theme for you this week 

'Anything Goes'

So over to my creation…..

Now I'm sorry for the lighting - this weather really can't decided what its doing and taking photos in here is getting harder and harder!!! I have used the adorable Toby Arr Captin form Crafty Sentiments Designs - It has been a long long time since I have coloured him and it was fun to bring him out again!!!  The image was coloured with copics and the papers are from my scrap box!! 

I do hope you like him! I had such fun making him!! i do hope you will join us over at CCC - I know the team can't wait to see your creations!!

Lets Sparkle and Shine!

Good Morning! 

Im here this morning with the latest challenge over at Creative Creations Challenges - I think a few of you were scared off last week - I know its also a very busy time of year though! So well don't to all that joined us last week - pop to the blog to take a look at the winners.

'Sparkle and Shine'

Were looking for some shimmer and glitter on your creations, it could be glitter, stickles, rhinestones… the list is endless!!!  So the DT were fortunate enough to get a digi to work with, I chose the sweet 'Tidy Up' for this challenge.

(I appologise for the photo I am really struggling here today with light!)

She has turned out really nicely - slightly larger than what I normally do - she is an 8x8 so it was a bit scary!! She was coloured with copics;

I have to say I fell in love with this sketch when i saw it - just nice and simple so I do hope to see more participants for this challenge! Over to my creation…. I have used the gorgeous Madison Attitude for my creation.

I just love the fact she is obviously a girl who can shop!! I decided to rotate the sketch slightly for my creation - and rather than a sentiment I have added a name :)

Creative Creations Challenges - Early Christmas Makes

Good Morning - I'm so sorry things have been so quiet here - posts seem to have vanished from my schedule and I have been really busy with the whole 'Back to School' this week! But things should calm down in the next couple of weeks!! 

Anyway I'm here today with the latest challenge over at Creative Creations Challenges - well do to all those that participated last week - we had a wonderful turnout! I can't wait to see what entries we get for this challenge!!

Yes we know its just around the corner and I have to say this year I'm actually getting somewhat excited!!!

So over to my creation! We were fortunate enough to have some images to work with for this challenge I have used the gorgeous 3 wise men silhouette found in the store here

I kept them very simple as I will be needing a few like this for this year! I decided to use some Bo Bunny paper I had stashed from a few years back :)  Untraditional colours I know - but sometimes I like to be different!

I coloured the little star in using a topic and added some stickles over the top!

Creative Creations Challenges!

Good Morning! 

Busy busy weeks and they are flying by! I can't believe how this year is going, on Friday it will be my 9 year anniversary and hubby and I are celebrating by renewing our wedding vowels with family and friends - I can't wait - I'm so very very excited - Anyway lots has been happening here at the moment, I can't wait for the summer holidays with the kids - although I know I will be wishing them away after the first couple of weeks!

So onto my creation - well you know how I love my Paper Dolls so you can guess how over the moon I was when Christine agreed to sponsor the challenge blog :) and so I got to use the fantastic Princess Ellie - just because I actually LOVE this image and it worked well with the challenge theme….. 

I had this idea of what I wanted to do and it all came together so nicely! The castle cut first time to the perfect size and it all came together!  I did have to add the initials A.J.B to the flags as this is the card I have made for Nancy to give to Amelia for her birthday next weekend!

New Challenge Blog!

Morning all - I do apologise for how quiet it has been over here - I have not stopped if its not been trying to catch up with getting things ready for Christmas its been school events then poor Miss A had Chicken Pox and today Miss N has started too :( - but I think I'm finally getting back on the ball now… so I'm here to share with you today something that has been in the pipeline since Novemeber - 

A good friend of mine and I were chatting and we decided that we wanted to take the plunge and open a new challenge blog - we have worked very hard behind the scenes trying to get it all together - I know there are still a few bits that need tweaking but I think they are all bits that need to be done along the way!  We have a fabulous team of talented crafters to join us so I hope you will stop by and see them all!!!

So onto my creation, OK I admit i did make this a while back and so I'm not going to be able to list too many products that I used :)

The image is from Saturated canary - This is the first time I have coloured this little lady up and I loved every minute of it! She was coloured with copics and I used some of my lovely papers from my stash, 

I also used a few of my lovely dies cuts - one thats got to be the favourite of 2013 so far and thats the Dienamics I purchased this set from That Craft place and I LOVE them! The papers are all ones from my forever mounting stash! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
