Ahoy There

Morning! hope your all well! Im here this morning with a post for The Paper Nest Dolls :)
It feels like so long ago since I did a blog post for over there :)  So Im here to share with you today something a bit different for me…. not my normal card or attempt at scrapbooking or SMASH*ing…. But something a bit more special :)

Please le me introduce to you

He is just so cute and I love him to bits! Do you like the shape??
Its from the fantastic Sandra's Scrap Shop and cut on my cameo.
I was somewhat nervous at first with making this card up - but it was so easy to make!

I coloured him up with copics;

E000, E00, E02, R20
B93, B95
C1, C2
Y15

The paper is a 12x12 that I have had in my stash for ages, I used both sides of the paper on this creation.  I distressed the edges of my circle card with Tim Holtz xxxx

I think the hardest part of this creation was the embellishing - the whole thing is about 8'' - its been a long time since I have made something this big! Its a good job I had all the fantastic flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts

I had to use the cameo even more on this creation - I just fell in love with one of the 'Nautical' sets on the SIL store.  This little guy is just 1' tall and look at all that detail.  I added the cheesecloth behind to look like fishing net :)

I added loads of charms too! all on some twine for more of a nautical look - Well I hope you like him! I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges;

613 Avenue - Anything Goes (Twist of Friendship - It has been made for a friends new boat)
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
Lacy Sunshine - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you have a moment please let me know what you think!! Remember the current challenge over at the PND Challenge blog
Hope to see you again soon

country boy....

Morning all, I'm finally back with you today! I know its been so long and I have had such withdrawal from everything crafty and blogland - but family and life had to take a bit of time from me :)  Had a lovely time away with the whole family - but glad to be home at the same time!!
So I'm here to share with you today a lovely PND image called Country boy Owen, he is available from the shop here.
Now I will confess that I made this one a while ago - so all I can really remember is that it was loads of pens and lots of stash!

I just think he is total adorable and perfect for any little man in anyone's life :)
I promise you all I will be back soon and may have a surprise up my sleeve :)
Hugs

Copics
Papers from stash
 Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Twine and Charm from Stash
Quickcutz Daisy
Tim Holts Tea Dye Distress Ink

A Rainy Happy Birthday!

Morning all - today is my first time posting for The Paper Nest Dolls
Im so excited to be a be part of this amazing journey with Christine and the team!

Yesterday as some of you know, was my little girls 3rd Birthday - I know I can't believe that she is now three - it only feels like yesterday that I was announcing her arrival!!!

When I was asked to join The Paper Nest Dolls - I saw this image and fell in love!!!
Strait away it hit me to use for Nancy's Birthday - I could think of no better image than 'Rainy Day Friends' available here from the store :) - they remind me of my girls (when they are getting along!).

So this is the card I have made for my 'big girl' to give to her sister!

I coloured the image to look like them (I have a very blond and a very brunette!) and I tried to include their favourite colours in it as well (Miss A loves purple and Miss N loves pink!) I did it just so it was a bit more personal!

The image was coloured with copics

The papers, ribbon and charms were from my stash.
The beautiful flowers are from a good friend of mine and you can get some for yourself from Petal Lu! They are simply amazing to work with!

Well I hope you like my card I would like too enter this creation into the following challenges;

2 Sisters - Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Sunshine and Showers
Drunken Stampers - Singing in the Rain
One Stop Craft - Birthday

I Love Mother

Good Morning - slowly getting back into the swing of things and the mojo is returning pretty fast - I know it feels so good - well till its 2am and you have so many ideas running round your head that you can't sleep - Never mind I'm just glad to get getting back to it!

Anyway Mothers Day is just around the corner - this year is flying by! I have been working hard on some images that I have fallen head over heals for…. This beauty is called 'One Heart' from Whimsy Stamps - I just fell in love with her as soon as I saw her

She was coloured with copics and papers from my stash.  I used my TH DI's around the edge of the papers and added lace with a metal charm to the front too, I'm so happy with how she turned out.  I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

You hold the Key to my Heart

Morning! Hope are we today? I can't believe I have hit 200 followers - so firstly I would like to thank you all!
If you haven't seen yet I am running a little candy here, I am waiting on a few bits to arrive to add and if I get to 250 followers while it runs I will add more!

Well due to the 'evil tooth' I haven't been crafting much, I haven't been able to put my head down to colour or type very much - I am only having to take pain relief  first thing in the morning and just before bed at night now - so we are on the up.  Ok I'm going to stop nattering now and get on with why I'm here!

Last week I was introduced to Dilly Beans Stamps - I had never heard of them before - but oh boy am I glad I have come across them.  So nice and completely different to what I would normally go for! Meet the beautiful Girl and Butterfly  - you know why I couldn't resist!

The image was coloured with copics;

E000, E00, E02, R20
Y21, YR12, YR14, E15, E18

The paper was a scrap from my stash and the sentiment is a new stamp I purchased from a friend on Facbook group.  The charm and corners were from my stash.  All in all for a quick and simple card I am quite impressed! I can't wait to colour this one up again - thinking a bit more on my wild side for next time though!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

2 sisters challenge - Anything Goes
Inspire me Fridays - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, remember my candy is open to anyone in the world - so why not take a look? If you have a moment I would love to hear what you think! Hope to see you again soon!

Surfs Up!

Afternoon! Ewww what another grey horrible wet day! I can't believe that every time the kids break up for holidays here is rains... Not much we can do with the weather though! Anyway I'm here to share another creation with you! I have been trying to make my cards a bit different and I cam across the lovely Life Guard Christian from Simply Betty Stamps - Now I wasn't sure what to do with him at first and so I decided to purchase the lovely Beach digi from Make It Crafty.  Now I have never tried colouring a whole scene before and so I was very surprised with myself when it turned out like this....

Ok so I could do with wokring on the sky and sea a bit, but not bad for a first attempt if I do say so myself! I used so many different colours I can't remember what ones though!

I love the colours that I used for his top and shorts, i think they may have been BG15, BG13, BG10 - I will double check that one a bit later!

I used papers form my stash, mail just 12x12's and Kraft.  The ticket stamps are from Whimsy stamps and the charms are just from my stash! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Sundays With Chrissy - Tags and Tickets
Cute Card thursday - Water Water Everywhere
Delightful Challenges - Fun in the Sun

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!
