Ohhh when will summer come and stay?  Anyway been keeping myself pretty busy with creating and cleaning the little room up and making mess and stressing that there is mess…… anyway Im here to share with you today a commission I made and all in all I was pretty impressed with it!

I finally used Video Boy from Mo's Digital Pencil - He has been sat in the pile to be coloured for far far too long (about a year too long!).

Morning all, well here we are, 5 days till santa will be coming down the chimney! I can't wait, I know Amelia is very excited about the countdown now, Nancy I think is still a bit young to understand, I can't wait to see their little faces on Christmas day with all their presents!

Im here this morning with this weeks challenge from Top Tip Tuesday!

With the big day just around the corner we have what should be a nice and easy challenge for you all! Were looking for

ANYTHING CHRISTMAS!

Now that should be easy?! Those last minute Christmas Cards and extra special handmade gifts, or what about some handmade wrapping paper?!  I can't wait to see your creations!

And this week there are some wonderful Tips from the girls, so pop over and see what that have to share with you! Plus if you share a tip with us (when you add your name to the link, please add TIP after) you can be in with a chance of winning our tipper prize!!

Our sponsors this week are

They are offering our Winner three Digis of their choice from the store!

Well I will share with you my little creation now, I had made this card for a friend.  It was for her dad from her children, as some of you may have seen me say before I struggle with men all year round, Christmas is just as hard I find... but then I came across this cutie from Mo's Digital Pencil - He is called 'Shall I Play For You', now I think is is once of the cutest digs I have seen, he has been sat on my computer since last year, I only used him once and then Christmas had come and gone again!

I apologise for the deceiving colour on the above photo, I can't seem to find the original, and as the card is now on someones wall I can't take another photo, A good job the rest of the pictures came out OK! Here this little man it a bit closer, I love the little dog sat next to him, I can also think of so many sentiments I want to try with him - especially christmas ones!

If you have come over from the TTT blog you would have seen my tip this week about making your own sentiments using a word/pages document on your computer, you can make them as small or large as you want and cut them to the shape you want too! I decided to use the wording 'Christmas Wishes for a Special Granddad' on this card, I printed a few different ones off all at the same time to make use of the paper!

Both the image and sentiments were printed on Neenah card stock from Crafters Companion and the image was coloured with my copic pens - now once again I can't tell you what colours as I never wrote them down - plus with the move I can't find my lil book anywhere!

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
Everybody Art Chalenge - Anything Goes
My time To Craft - Winter pals
Try It On Tuesday - Anything Goes
Make It Moday - Anything Goes

Now I hope that many of you will join in with us this week! I can't wait to see what you have created! Remember if you have a moment pop by the TTT blog and share some love with the fab girls over there!

See you soon!

Daughter....

Morning all well have been on a bit of a tidying mission, need to get organised, i'm driving my self up the wall at the moment with all the mess! But feeling very positive at the moment....

Well I'm here to share a card with you.  It is one that I finished a week ago and I was very happy with the way it turned out.  I have used one of Mo Mannings images, Lacie with Ice Cream, I find her so adorable!!!

I used some blue patterned paper for the back mounted onto red bazzill and onto a Kraft card base.
I cut her down with my nesties and put her onto a doily. I just felt it broke her up a bit! I sponged in the blue sky again so it broke it all up a bit!

Here is a close up of her, I used my pro-markers to colour her,  I used sunkissed pink putty and blush for her skin tome and cardinal red and poppy for her dress.  Her hair was coloured using caramel and coco!

Below is a picture of the little flowers and pin I put on the corner.

I also added some crystals on stems I have had sat in my stash for ages! The leaves are ones I have pulled off from other flowers!

I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Tip Top Tuesday - Flowers
The Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes
The Ribbon Reel - Colour Combo
Card Cupids - Flowers
Cheerful Stamp Pad - Girls with Curls
Mo's Digital Challenge - Here comes summer

For a Special Sister

Evening everyone, happy crafting days and nights I hope for all!

Well been busy and making tonight, being back at work has drained me the last couple of days, have been fortunate enough to work from home today, so after working I made the most of being able to catch up on housework with no children!  Got one awake at the moment! GRRR!!!

Well my boss asked me to make a card for her sister, nothing like a bit of notice! She needs it for Tuesday, so thinking ahead I thought I would get it done tonight, so at least if i didn't finish it tonight I would get it finished over the weekend.

All my boss said was her sister liked crystals and angels, well I spent ages looking for the right image, then I came across this beauty at digital pencil too, she is called sending peace, click here to go to Mo's store

When I printed the image I printed her bigger than I needed her, but I decided that I would find a way around it. So I made an easel card!  Once I had coloured her with pro-markers I went around the edge of the entire image with the vanilla pen to give the effect of light.

I mounted her onto a piece of dusky pink bazzill stock and then used my Tim Holtz brushed corduroy ink pad along with my SU dabbers to get the effect around her, I also went over the bazzill stock as I felt it showed the detail on the paper a bit more.  I then mounted her onto plain black card.  I went over the lines on her wings with my art glitter glue and then sprinkled glitter onto her.  The doves have just had a little bit of grey on to add a bit of detail to them.

From a bit of the Bazzill card I had a made the small rose (OK so I love making them at the moment!) and then used a bit more of the ink around the petals.  You can just see on the edge how the Bazzill stock has small raised bubbles on,

The sentiment is something I just thought of and wrote on my word program on my computer, I then cut it out with my nestabilities as well as a larger oval for the backing, I then went round with rhinestones just to add a bit more detail.  I just used some purple ribbon I had in my stash!

This is my 1st every easel card I have made (thanks for the inspiration Lou)!

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Fab 'n' Funky - Delight in your Digi
The Sisterhood of Crafters - anything goes
Tuesday Throw down - Distressing
Gingerloft - Things that fly
CES Challenges - Angels and Fairies
One Stop Craft Challenge - More thank one fold

I hope you like it.  If you have time, please let me know what you think

thanks for taking the time to look!

I should have been out with my mum for her 50th birthday tonight, but because of my foot were out tomorrow, also should have been at tap but not worth trying to go to tap! I could have gone to stampin' up club night, but cant drive all the way over there, although i feel better, still think the tablets are still effecting me!

Well here we go 1st up we have 'Video Boy' from Mo Manning! I have coloured him with promarkers and aimed him at a 16 year old, I hope you like him!

Katie's Pack, A couple of makes

Hello again, well the title says it all, these are the cards I have made with the set from Katie's fundraiser, Im sure you have heard about this by now, if not click here and you can see some more information, I felt her story was so sad and wanted to help, so i donated, Love each and every one of the images, have them all sat on the table waiting to be coloured, i think they are all screaming 'colour me 1st', its so hard to choose!

So 1st up we have 'sprout' from Mo Manning, You wont buy this stamp anywhere! you can only get your hands on her buy making the donation to katie's fund and receiving the full set! although if you visit mo's store, she has more beautiful images!!
Once again i have used the lovely papers I won in a blog hop just before christmas! so i have no idea of the name or anything! She has been layered onto pale pink card. I coloured her with my pro-markers. I have written the words 'look what I...' and then used peel offs down the side to spell sprouted. I thought it was the right thing to do with her name!!!

I have entered Sprout into;

AiFactory - anything goes

***********

The second one i'm going to show you is from Make it Crafty, I had never come across their digis before now, Oh WOW, i know where my next shopping spree will be!!

This one is called Katie's Love Swing. When I saw this one I just fell in love, I would love to be able to position a bride or someone/something on the swing, think it would look beautiful!!! But i'm not sure if I'm allowed to do that, does anyone have any ideas??? and if so how to do it??

The paper had no name on the bottom, so i'm sorry i have failed again as to being able to tell you all the products I have used, i have coloured in my normal way and just layered it on, the sentiment has been done with peel offs!!

I have entered this card to;

Do you stack up - No stress, DISTRESS (Thurs)

If you have a moment, I love to know what you think, so please feel free to let me know what you think!

Pear Tree Designs Challenge 31 - Circles

Morning everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely day!

Today is my 1st post being on the Design team for Pear Tree Designs.
This week were going to be going round and round in circles!
This week you will be in with a chance of winning a Goody Bag from Donna!!

Here is my DT card for the week, I hope you like it!

I used my Nestabilities to cut all the shapes used on this card.

The Card I have used some I received when I purchased some popcorn the bear stamps (quite a while ago), its from crafters companion and is a pearlescent pink.

The scalloped circle is from papers I won on a blog hop just before christmas, I must say you don't see the beauty of the paper as most of its covered, it has flowers all over and it sparkles too!!

The image, called 'bride and groom and available from mo's digital pencil here, was printed from my computer onto high gsm paper, I then used a dabber to add the pink from a cats eye chalk.

The paper flower has been cut using the smallest scalloped circle in the nestabilities set from white tissue paper (approx 8 single layers), I placed a brad through the middle and scrunched it up, I did place a small rhinestone in the middle but you cant see it! I know for next time that its not worth it.

I finished the flower off with some stickels on the edges.

I have entered this cards into these challenges;

MJM Makes

Hello again, just winding down for tonight (as per the request of my dear husband)and thought i would share with you the ones I have done today! First up is a lovely little fairy from MJM (digital pencil too), i enjoyed colouring her today with how cold it has been, made me feel slightly warm inside! I have used pro-markers and i am trying to blend the colours to make skin tones look real! Practice makes perfect! The sentiment says 'on your special day' I have used peel offs round the edge as borders!

This one is a favourite, if he was a she it would be my milly! The sentiment reads 'never too old 30 today' I thought it would make a nice 30th birthday for someone! well you are never too old for a tantrum! Hope you like them! Cant wait to play again tomorrow!

Sleep Tight!

Chilly Wednesday Makes

Afternoon all, its so cold here in the UK, I'm sat on top of the radiator on full heat! cant believe how cold it is. Well took Milly to school and then came home, sone a couple of cards this morning, This is one from a CDAC challenge, We had the Sketch and the image and this is what I came up with! Hope you like it! If you get time and fancy getting your crafty fingers on a few free digi's, pop over to http://priscillastyles.ning.com/ and sign up, would be lovely to see you there!

I have also been pplating with another MJM image i have purchased, Every time I look at these images i just fall more and more in love! This one is Kai in the snow, such a lovely image, whats better is that kai is not specific in gender, so you just chooses the colours you want him/her to be in! I found some sonowflake charms I purchased years ago thought they complemented the theme! As you can see I have done this one for a baby boys first christmas.

Well i will get back to crafting. Tomorrow i wont be on here till late afternoon, maybe even as late as the evning. Down at the toddler group tomorrow morning and then to the brownies till 8, but i will find some time to craft! Im sure i will be back later!

Thanks for looking!

Mondays Makes

Evening all, well I should have know nothing much would get done last night! My youngest was awake until 10pm, so i got to finish one card. I love this image called 'buds' by Maurice J Manning. I coloured the image with pro markers, i did some shading on it, but you cant seem to see it in the photo.

I feel it is such a peaceful image. I used the faux silk effect again on the background (i have put some instructions on a lower post) and just put some flowers around the edge to finish it off. Here is a closer one of the image.

some recent makes

Just some bits and bobs i have made recently. Very into digital stamps at the moment, less mess and less to get out the tardis! There is one drawback, I hate the waiting for them to dry from printing! Listening to create and craft this morning they said a few minuets for things to be dry to colour with pro markers, ha ha ha ha, mine need to be left at least 2-3 hours, so I have got cleaver and print what i want the night before so it is dry for the next evening!

Loving the Maurie J Manning images, they are all so beautiful, i think that when ever i go to the web page i have a spending problem, i just add things to my basket!

The card above is one that i have made for a friend who is expecting a baby at the beginning of december, she wanted a personalised card for her 1st christmas. The image is a MJM image called First Christmas, what is so lovely about it is that you don't have to only use it for christmas, when printed just cut off the tree and bauble part! oh how much fun can be had with that! I have coloured her with pro-markers and used peel offs for the greeting!

I Love this wedding image, another MJM. this one is called 'bride and groom'. once again i have coloured this with pro-markers, I have used a subtle pink on the grooms shirt and on the back of her dress. I decided to get the nestabilities out on this
one, its been a while since i have played with them! I felt it just made the card a bit more romantic, for something smaller, what with the postage charges as they are!

This is the A5 card i made using the same image, again, she is coloured with pro-markers, but i have put glitter in the creases of her dress! just felt it added to the feel.

You can find all Maurie J Manning's images at http://digitalpenciltoo.com/.
