Graveyard Hanging….

Evening - well I need to keep this brief as hubby is home and I am full of cold - well a sore throat and horrid cough - sleep tonight will be little to none! So I'm here to share with you another creation for the 13 Days of Halloween Challenge over at Simply Challenged Challenges - I am determined now more than ever that I will complete all of them!!!

Simply Challenged Challenges

So were now onto Day 7 - only 6 more to go - I can't believe it! This has all been SOOO much fun - I don't want it to end! Anyway back to the theme

Grave Digger - Create a graveyard scene

WOW that was all I said - and we only had about a day and half to do it!!! SO the thinking cap went on - I had a wonderful idea but didn't have all the materials - and so I decided to make a halloween hanging for above my fire place

Now Im sorry for the photos - didn't know how to take them tonight! so yes we have to put up with a bit of flash! The frame is one that I purchased from Sainsburys and just painted it black (about 5 times) today and then sprayed it with Spray and Shine to make it shine again!

here is a bit of a close up - I have used so many images from SBS! I love them all - and ohh the background - thats from MIC - Oh how I love their background images!!!

The whole image was coloured with copics - I used so many i lost track of what was what! Well I hope you like my creation! I would like to enter it into the following challenge;

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Feeling Green

Evening all - well another latish post from me, had a strange day today - found out there is a craft shop about 15 minuets away so I decided to pay it a visit - what a beautiful shop - and they had halloween stuff - the whole front window was decorated with ghosts and gules! It was FAB to see a craft shop into the spirit.  So as you can imaging I just had to buy something - mmmm well a few bits - I treated myself to a die and a few papers - It was only then that i was inspired to make another card for the 13 days of Halloween Challenge over at Simply Challenged Challenges

Simply Challenged Challenges

So if you remember the theme is 'Slime and grime' you need to use lime green and distressing - so this time I have kept it a bit more simple than the last one and I hope it counts as there is not too much green but each layer is distressed with my SU tool!

These are the fab bits I purchased from the new shop i found! The papers are just SOOOO fab! I had to use them - the red stipe looks really bright in the photo (I think thats cause of the flash) looking at it here it looks really aged and weathered.  The brown dots are just LUSH! and oh the die - yes I just had to have this die!!

I also added the pumpkin charm sent to me by the wonderful Anda from Crafty Fresian - you have to take a look at her work its FAB! (big thank you's too for sending me them!)

The image is the beautiful Bride of Chrisenstein Betty - she is available from Simply B Stamps! I just love colouring her up -especially green!!!

As I wanted the 'lime' to 'pop' I wanted to keep it to a small area and each layer was distressed with my SU tool (I think you cab see it above!) She was coloured with copics

YG21, YG25, R24, R27, R29, W2, W3, W4, W5

Well I hope you like her (and I hope she is acceptable for the challenge!) You know where I'm entering it too!!!

Slime and Grime

Well no there is none of that on this creation! I was so hopping to be more adventurous… but just not feeling the ticket at the moment! Anyway its now day 6 of the 13 days of Halloween over at Simply Channelled Challenges - I can't believe how quick there are going by!

Simply Challenged Challenges

So as you can guess the theme is

Slime and Grime
The creation must have Lime green and distressing

So well OK so yes this did stump me for a while and I have been throwing pens out the craft spot… But I have created!

mmmm she sure is green! I have used the gorgeous Bride of Chrisenstein Betty - she is available from Simply B Stamps! I have to say she is one of my favourites at the moment - I seem to LOVE colouring her all the time!  I as usual coloured her with copics -  The papers are all from the Chillingsworth 6x6 paper stamps and I used my SU distressing tool and Tim Holtz Tea Die ink pad! Im so pleased with how she has turned out - I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges;

burning brightly

Afternoon - well Im still waiting on my man to fit the new sky box - So I have been making the most of being house bound and been creating again!  I have really been enjoying the 'cobwebs and spiders' challenge on the simply challenged challenges blog.

Simply Challenged Challenges

Because Im enjoying the challenges so much I keep thinking of more and more that I want to try!!! There was someone that left  a comment on a previous post tarts really made me smile - I was left thinking I had to make another one of these…..

Yep I have done another candle (It will be posted as soon as I find a way to trust royal mail with it to someone very inspiring!) I did this one slightly different this time though!  Rather than circles I used ovals!

The web die cuts (they are actually corner dies put together!) are from the cheery lynn set I purchased from that craft place last week

I love the image - she is Witchy Wednesday from Simply B Stamps - she is a pleasure to colour! The image was coloured with copics

E000, E00, E02,
W4, W5
YR12, YR15

The orange webbing is from That Craft Place and the black ribbon is from e-bay! Well I hope you like it! I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

Simply Challenged Challenges

Anyway I'm here to share with you some bunting that I have made - once again I have been inspired by the wonderful and talented Trudie - although mine is no where near the standard of hers!!!

Now I have wanted to try bunting for SO long but never really had the patience - now I know why - its HARD work to do - but I have tried! All the images are from Simply B Stamps - I think most of them are available - but remember loads are due to retire in the next couple of days!

The ones that I have used are;

The images were all coloured with copics, and all the papers are from the Chillingsworth 6x6 pad - I have used 2 this halloween!!! Every one of the images have webs on them - some have die cuts, some have netting that looks like webs, one (Little Dark Home Maker) even has a dangly spider!!! Well I hope you like my bunting, its now hanging above the window and looks pretty good!!! I would like to enter this into the following challenge;
