Creative Creations Challenges!

Good Morning!

Busy busy weeks and they are flying by! I can't believe how this year is going, on Friday it will be my 9 year anniversary and hubby and I are celebrating by renewing our wedding vowels with family and friends - I can't wait - I'm so very very excited - Anyway lots has been happening here at the moment, I can't wait for the summer holidays with the kids - although I know I will be wishing them away after the first couple of weeks!

I know there may still be some of you hopping for The Paper Nest Dolls summer release hop if your looking for my post you can find it here - but if you haven't hopped yet there is still time pop back to The Paper Nest Dolls Blog and start from the beginning - some amazing inspiration along the way with some fantastic prizes up for grabs too!!

Anyway I'm here to day with the latest challenge over at Creative Creations Challenges I do hope you will stop over and meet all the new DT members :) there are some very very talented ladies that have joined us - pop over and take a look!

So lets jump into this weeks challenge - and I have to say I think it was somewhat challenging for many of us - but so much fun having to think outside the box….

Shaped Cards
(no Squares or Rectangles)

We have a fantastic sponsor this week The Paper Nest Dolls

The prize we have on offer this week is a $25 gift voucher for the store! Why not pop over and take a look at what they have to offer - some fantastic digs!

So onto my creation - well you know how I love my Paper Dolls so you can guess how over the moon I was when Christine agreed to sponsor the challenge blog :) and so I got to use the fantastic Princess Ellie - just because I actually LOVE this image and it worked well with the challenge theme…..

I had this idea of what I wanted to do and it all came together so nicely! The castle cut first time to the perfect size and it all came together!  I did have to add the initials A.J.B to the flags as this is the card I have made for Nancy to give to Amelia for her birthday next weekend!

Her is the beautiful Princess Ellie - she is so easy to colour and perfect for anyone you think is a princess!

I coloured the image with copics

E000, E00, E02, R20
E30, E31, E33
R35, R37
C1, C2
Y28, YG03, YG17

I would never have normally put red with pink but on this occasion I think it worked,  The castle shape was cut with my cameo - I swear I don't know how I have waited so long for that machine!

Well I hope you like her, I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Kraftin kimmie Stamps - Shaped Cards
Krafty Hands - Shaped Cards
Send a Smile for Kids - For the Girls
The Hobby House - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, if you have a moment I would love to know what you think! Hope to see you again soon
