I have decided to join in with team B this week as this is a creation that I have not shared with you yet! I had seen the idea around quite a bit on pintrest and decided to give it a go myself….

It was very simple to do - I just cut the tape into lengths and stuck them down, using my big shot I die cut the sentiment and mounted it on sticky pads, a nice and simple card!!! I think I will be making a few more of these very soon for various occasions!!!  I do hope I have inspired you to join us this week over at Creative creations, pop over and take a look at what the rest of the team created :)

Sunday Sketch & Stamp

Good Morning, so sorry I have been so quiet - trying to do 1000 things as per usual - this year so far has been a nightmare with technology…. TV went crazy, Printer head went and then - well the laptop had a meeting with a glass of water :( BUT its still working so we can breath!!

So I'm here today with this weeks challenge over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp we have a wonderful sketch for you made by Carol

We also have a fantastic Sponsor

Bugaboo

They are offering our winner a selection of digs of their choice!
What a fantastic prize!

So over to my creation, this week with all that happened I found quite a few images that I have coloured up and 'stashed' away for some reason… and so I have decided to use one of them this week :) Please let me introduce to you

She is one of the few Some Odd Girl stamps I have as rubber :)  I have to admit that I kinda forgot about her what with my rubber stamps being stashed away under loads of other boxes - but now she is out and I can't wait to use her again!

I believe that I coloured the image with copics, the papers are all from my 'offcuts' box, the bunting was cut on my cameo, the 'Be Mine' was printed via the Silhouette Studio.

I do hope you like my creation - I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
Craftitude - Anything Goes
4 Krafty Girlz - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by, I do hope if you have a moment you will leave me a comment, looking forward to seeing your creations :)

Copic Skin Tone with The Stamping Chef

Good Morning, hope your all well :)

I'm here with you today with another tutorial for The Stamping Chef

Im here to share with you another colour combination I use when colouring my skin tones - I do hope you saw my last skin tone I did - If not you can find it further below!

For this tone I have used Copics;

E000, E00, E02

And the gorgeous 'I'm a Raver' from The Stamping Chef - Now as I wanted to concentrate on skin I have once again masked the image on my computer to just give me her head - It also meant I could make the images slightly bigger to show you :)

So lets begin…..

I start by laying down E000 over the entire area of the skin

Taking E00 I then come in from the outside ages - being sure not to cover the complete face, just leaving enough for a highlight….

You can see that I have taken the E00 over the eyelids and over most of one side of her face - this is where I think the shadow would be.
*TIP* remember you can always add more colour later but you can't take it away so start by covering a smaller area than you want the shadow in the first place*

Taking E02 I then draw this in from the outside edge too - but once again no quite as much

You can see I have also drawn a 'flick' up to look like her nose - I know this looks very drastic on the colour side of things… it all blends :)

Taking back your E00 go back over the area as before making sure you cover all the area where you put E02

Its at this point you will see if you want the shadow to be more, remember don't add too much at once and these pens can deceive you - if your worried allow the ink a bit of time to dry - it helps!

Going back to your E000 colorer the entire skin area as before,

You may want to cover it with E000 and leave it a few moments to see what it looks like - you can add more in but be sure not to over saturate the paper :) And hey presto - there she is!! All coloured up! Well I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial today and I hope to be back soon with more :)

Thanks for stopping by

Digi Chooseday - For the boys

Good morning!! Hope your all well and not feeling the cold too much!! Anyway thank you to everyone that joined us last week for the last challenge at Digi Chooseday! we had some fantastic entries!! So we have a new challenge this week, the team have some fantastic inspiration over on the blog so i do hope you will pop over and take a look :)

So the theme for the challenge this week is

For the Boys/Anything Goes

It been another fantastic week for inspiration from the DT, I do hope you will pop over and take a look at their creations!  So this week I have gone with the 'For the Boys' side of the challenge - a bit out of my norm!!  Girls are so easy to create for and buys… well yes I find them very awkward!! Bit this week i have managed it!!

I have used the sweet Sugar Boys Download Bundle available here in the store.  The card was designed on the computer suing my silhouette design studio - I'm really enjoying making cards like this at the moment.  I decoupaged the owl and his eyes out a bit to add more depth - the button is also from the bundle. I added a little bit of ribbon from my stash to the back of the button before I stuck it down :)

Well I do hope you like my creation and that I may have inspired you to join us over at the challenge blog this week :)  Looking forward to seeing your creations :)

Digi Chooseday - New Beginnings

Good Morning! wow where is time going, I can't believe that my little ones are back at school today!!! I can't believe were into 2014 by a week!!! Anyway thank you to everyone that joined us last week for the last challenge at Digi Chooseday! we had some fantastic entries!! So we have a new challenge this week, the team have some fantastic inspiration over on the blog so i do hope you will pop over and take a look :)

So the theme is week is

New Beginnings

Its been really nice to see how each member of the team interoperates this theme - so many fantastic ideas.  My take on this was 'Weddings and Marriage' when you get married I see it as a new beginning and so I have used the gorgeous Dolly Day Dream CD to create my card today.

this card really is a different one for me as it was all designed on my computer using my silhouette software - I then print and cut it on my machine and added the flowers and butterflies! Once I worked out what I was doing with the software it all came together really quickly!!

I printed the topper off as an extra and layered it up to add more details.  All the flowers and other embellishments are all from my stash.  At first I really wasn't sure how this card was going to turn out - but I really like it now and can't wait to create more cards like this!!  I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Amusing Challenges - new beginnings
CD Sunday - Pretty in Pink
Come and get It - Something New (The CD Collection is new)

Thanks so much for stopping by, I do hope if you have a moment that you will leave me a comment :)
I hope I have inspired you to join us this week! Cant wait to see your creations :)

Sunday Sketch & Stamp

Good Morning, so 2014 is off to a very creative year so far, I can't believe that I have had the craft room a year next week - where has time gone??  Anyway I'm here this morning with the newest challenge over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp, we have a wonderful sketch drawn by Sam this week

I had lots of fun with this one, well at the time I didn't call it fun as I repeatedly cut the papers wrong! hence why I have flipped the sketch over

(Ins Imag)

Now over the festive period I kept seeing this beauty and just had to have her - so after a little bit of searching I found her this is the beautiful Prima Ballerina Tilda - as soon as she arrived I just had to colour her up!! She was coloured using copics;

Skin and Hair
E50, E51, E21, E11, E93, E30, E33, E35

Tutu and Shading

The papers are from MME Unforgettable collection, I do love that stack I have limited sheets left now so best get hunting for more.  The sentiment was cut using Dienamics Die and the wording is from a SU set I have hardly ever used!!!  I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;
