Good Morning - hope your all well - I'm full of cold - sure enough the kids are back at school!  Never mind these things are sent to try us.  Well I have been working away very hard….  very very hard infact - trying to get ahead of things before the big C word really starts!!

I have been asked to make a few birthday cards for people recently - its been really nice - working on different stuff and not all for me - getting requirements and not having to think 100% of it myself - I know that sounds really bad - but sometimes I just do a blank!
So the card I'm about to share with you is for a little girl that loves swimming,

Isn't she cute! this is the gorgeous 'Going Swimming (girl)' from tiddly inks - I just fell in love with her when I saw her!

She was coloured with copics

Thank you Mum and Dad....

Afternoon, how are we all today?
Well been busy here getting orders finished and started and swimming lessons with my big girl! So proud of her! She swam the length of the pool today (hubby thinks 20-25m)- not that I didn't think she could but she did so so well!!!

Anyway I'm here to share a card I have made for a friend, she wanted something to say thank you to her mum and dad for all their help and support with her wedding thats coming up in a few weeks time.  Now she wanted to keep it in with the theme of the wedding and so I came up with this

I love this couple from Tiddly Inks called You and me available here, they are just so adorable and wonderful to colour.  The papers my fried helped me purchase from Karens Scraps, absolute bargain price! and downloaded strait away making life so easy!

The image was coloured with copics;

Before the ink ran out!

Morning! Looks like another beautiful day! Yesterday I had a fly buzzing around my house all day (one of this you can hear it coming a mile off!), when I questioned this with a friend on Facebook... she told me it was the crafty fly and it was here to help! And help it did! I think its all coming back... slowly and simply but its coming!

Anyway further to my previous post where I told you the ink ran out... well this card was made using the 4'.5'' bit of the print that looked normal - well as normal as I think it looked! I think it was meant to be more green than turquoise... but still I worked with it!

Yes its another beautiful image from Tiddly Inks! now this one I hadn't seen till the other day when it came up as a suggestion that I might like it!  Oh don't you love adding things from the suggestion and then realising that you have spent way more than you should have!

The flower is one that I purchased from the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking show last year at Ali Pally.  Its one of this that I fell in love with but never worked out what I was going to do with it!

Ingredients;

Medium - Copics - E000, E00, E02, R20, C4, W7, W5, BG49, BG57, E31, E33, E35, E37, E39
5.5 x 5.5 Card Blank
Papers - Digital from Sassy Designs and kraft
Image - Tiddly Inks

Before I go I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

City Crafter Challenge - A Rose is A Rose
Flourishes - Use a Flower

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Things Going Wrong...

Isn't always a bad sign...

I have been feeling really down recently with my creations, even thought about selling all my stash.  I have decided to take a couple of weeks out to find the bug again, just take the pressure away and find the 'inner crafter' again.

Last night I decided to go through the DP's I have on the computer and started playing around with a few, just shrinking the design and repeating it across the page, just cause well... no reason at all really!  Anyway,  I purchased some lovely papers from Sassy Designs last week (They have a sale!!) one of the sets I purchased was the Absinthe Digital Paper Pack (I got the solids too!).  So I shrunk the design down and decided to print... and WHAM.... the ink went half was though printing, it went from the lovely deep colours, to washed out browns... I cried, at that point I could have thrown it all out!

But I walked away and I thought, and I remembered the digs that I brought from Tiddly Inks... Now they have been following me for ages, not something that I would normally colour but these we shouting 'Buy me, Buy me' and so I did....  and then this fell together...

Yes it all just fell into place, including the paper that I was printing.  I couldn't believe it when I looked at it this morning....

Everything looked so good, so nice and as I want all my cards to look.

I have had to sit and admire for a while before I have been able to post this.... just realising that I put far too much pressure on myself sometimes, I am still taking a break and if the creativity flows... well so be it, I'm not going to push myself.  Ok so a bit more info on the card for you!

6x6 Scalloped Card blank
Image - Tiddly Inks
Papers - Digital- Sassy Designs  and Kraft card stok
Tim Holtz Ink Pad - Tattered Rose (distressed the edges of the Kraft card stock)
Medium - Copics; E000, E00, E02, R20, E04, E08, E31, E33, E35, E39, E37 C4, W5, W7

I didn't know what occasion to make this card for, so I have added a small sentiment to the inside of the card from Stampin Up, it says 'Wishing You Love and Laughter forever after' (I would have decorated the inside but no guarantee that the paper will turn out the same!).  I will be adding this card to my Facebook page under the category or 'Love, Engagement and Wedding'.

Well I hope you like my card, I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Hooked on Crafts - Flowers
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Stamps + Fun = Creativity - Anything Goes
Wild Orchid Challenge - Anything Goes
Tiddly Inks - Flowers

Thanks fro stopping by, can't wait to read what you think! See you soon!

HEY!

Yes ok not a normal word for a title for a blog post, but I was feeling uninspired! for the first morning in a couple of weeks I did not want to get up this morning, at all! I could have stayed in bed all day, but there are things to do so Im up and thought I would pass some time on here!

SO last night I continued creating - I confess it was a new image that I coloured, didn't dare tackle the draw!  I didn't know where to start! and so here is the lovely Wryn - Howdie Cowgirl from Tiddly Inks, she has been sat on my computer for a while and I kinda forgot about her, I SO need to find a more organised way of storing my digs, I have tried in a folder but you never know what you really have.... mmmmm going to think on that on!

She was coloured using my Copics;
Hair; E29,27,25
Hat; E33,35
Horse; C5, C2, W0
Dress; R56 58

And the paper was from my stash, it was just a 12x12 sheet! The image was die cut with my square nesties... go its been a while! And I used a fine liner to add the detail round the outside of the image! Ohhh and the Tim Holtz inks came out to play! Distressed the edge using Walnut Stain and Brushed Corduroy and a finger sponge, I found them on my clear up let week, I have missed them!

OK so the close up of the NOT so funky banner! I cut it by hand and used my terrible hand writing! The card wasn't big enough to put how die like I wanted, so just put HEY.

Well I hope you like my card! Im going to go and be more creative today, after I get on top of the housework! hopefully that won't take long!  Before I go I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Whoopsie Daisy - Anything Goes
Paper Sundaes - Anything Goes
Inspire Me Fridays - Anything Goes
Tiddly Inks Challenge - Photo Inspiration

Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you again soon!

Happy Easter to my Girls

Evening all, well today have been a successful and eventful day, after Nancy's Birthday yesterday, we have had a good day around the house, managed to get a few bits done, the loft is now boarded and boxes in the loft, still quite a few to go up but that will be one day next week when we have no children for the day as we need to be in and out of the lounge and we can't do that with the horror running about.

Well its not like me to make easter cards, but I decided to make the girls one each this year, I have used a lovely image from tiddlyinks! and I have kept them quite simple - The kids look at them and then don't take too much more notice!

I put their names on them so they would know who's was who... well Amelia would know! I love this image she was so lovely to colour!

I used some 6x6 papers I had stashed away, I have so much that needs using up! I must start using more!

Well I said they were simple! I don't want to overpower the cards, they only for the kids! Well I hope you like them! I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges;

Aud Sentiment Challenge - Happy easter

Hugs and hope to see you soon
