Sunday Sketch & Stamp

Good Morning, so 2014 is off to a very creative year so far, I can't believe that I have had the craft room a year next week - where has time gone??  Anyway I'm here this morning with the newest challenge over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp, we have a wonderful sketch drawn by Sam this week

I had lots of fun with this one, well at the time I didn't call it fun as I repeatedly cut the papers wrong! hence why I have flipped the sketch over

(Ins Imag)

Now over the festive period I kept seeing this beauty and just had to have her - so after a little bit of searching I found her this is the beautiful Prima Ballerina Tilda - as soon as she arrived I just had to colour her up!! She was coloured using copics;

Skin and Hair
E50, E51, E21, E11, E93, E30, E33, E35

Tutu and Shading

The papers are from MME Unforgettable collection, I do love that stack I have limited sheets left now so best get hunting for more.  The sentiment was cut using Dienamics Die and the wording is from a SU set I have hardly ever used!!!  I would like to enter this card to the following challenges;

Happy Birthday Holly

Morning!! Firstly I need to apologise for the rubbish photos! I have somehow mislaid the charger to the camera since our holiday... so my mission today is to find it! So I had to take the photos on my phone and at night too... yuck this weather is horrible... its like winter!  Anyway.... Amelia announced at 7pm last night that it was her friends birthday and she wanted to give her a card today... so went went through my little box... and she didn't want one of them, she wanted one with a ballerina one!

and so yes mummy spent some pennies and brought a new stamp just for Amelia's friend... Well she has quite a few friends at ballet that have parties soon so I'm sure it will be coming in very handy! This is 'The Lovely Ballerina' from The Paper Shelter.  I have a small collection of digs from there, I love them as they come with pre coloured ones too and sometimes thats what you need.  I did consider using one last night... But I didn't i coloured her up myself!

She was coloured using Copics;

Skin - E000, E00, E02, R20 cheeks, R81 lips
Dress, Skirt, Tights and Shoes - R81, R83, R85
Hair - E18, E15, E13

I used lots of paper from my stash, none of them had names on them so I have idea where /what they are! I also pulled out a charm and added a bit of twine to it, and to finish off a rhinestone flourish made using my Bazzill Jewel Template.

All in all I'm pretty happy with how she turned out! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Karens Doodles - For The Kids
Creative Mondays - Anything Goes
365 Cards - Layers
The Paper Shelter - Photo Inspiration

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you soon!

Happy Birthday Mummy!

Morning all, well today is my mums birthday.  I should be out the door by now but my big girl feels poorly and decided that she didn't want to go to ballet today, It makes me sad that she doesn't want to go, but on the other side she is quite congested and with how cold it is here, its probably best that she stays in!

Tonight we have my Mum, Dad and Sister over for dinner (well take away!) as its mums birthday, Some of you may have seen the card I made yesterday for my mum, I was going to do that one from the girls, but Amelia was insistent that she chose her own card for Nanny!  Its a good job I have a stash at the moment, cause time would not be on my side if I needed to make another card!

I made this one a while back, way before we moved.  This stamp is from a set I purchased from Quixotic Paperie, its the Elizabeth Bell for SCACD its from a set called 'Peekers' and she is called Daydreaming.  I can't give you any ideas as to what colours I used, although I did keep her very simple! I wanted to give this card to Amelia's ballet teacher for her birthday but Im not sure when that is! This was one of the 1st images that I tried to get the colours blended properly when using Copics!

I think I was most impressed with the shadow! and her skirt!
 I would like to enter her into the following challenges;

Alphabet Challenge Blog - You Choose (Anything Goes)
Card Craft Circle Challenge - Happy Birthday

Well I hope you like her, I can't wait to read what you think!
