Creative Creations Challenges - For you Dad

Morning! Wow this is a miracle for me - two posts within a couple of days! I have been so busy with stuff its crazy! I would love to tell you that things will calm down in a few weeks - but no sooner will all the stress be over it will them be summer holidays!

Anyway I'm here today with the latest challenge at Creative Creations Challenges - we had a great turn out last week well done to everyone that joined in, remember to pop to the blog to see if you were our lucky winner!

So onto this weeks challenge - we have a fantastic and very appropriate challenge for you this week -

For you Dad

Yep were looking for your Fathers Day Creations. We have a wonderful sponsor this week

The team were lucky enough to have some steps from Indigo Blu to work with - I know the team had so much fun with them :)

I got to work with xxxx as my set - I have to say at first I was somewhat stumped - its been a while since I had the stamps and inks out - but my word did I enjoy getting messy! I even managed to make two cards this week!

First up I kept it simple, I used the cogs stamps with my TH Walnut Stain ink to stamp the background, using my brush I then distressed the background using Tea Dye.  I stamped the layered pieces in black Memento and distressed them with the tea dye, I layered them onto Kraft and stuck them with silicone.

The twine is from my stash I also ran that through the Tea Dye to make it blend more, the farm was added using twine to secure it.

I have to say I LOVE how this card has turned out! I would like to enter the card above into the following challenges;

Craft Lovin Challenges - Fathers Day
Crazy 4 Challenges - Fathers Day
Sugar Creek Hollow - Fathers Day

I was somewhat messy after finishing it and so I decided that I was going to get more messy…….
For this one I stamped the background up and then scrunched it, once again distressed it using my brush and TH Tea Dye, I did add a few stipples of Walnut Stain in to.  I did the same with the cogs.

I then stamped the image again but this time only very lightly distressed it.

Well I hope you like my creations, I had so much fin making them! I would like to enter the second card into the following challenges;

Bloggers - Masculine
Inspire me Fridays - Anything Goes
Simply Create too - Fathers Day/Masculine

Thanks for stopping by, if you have a moment I would love to know what you think! I do hope you will pop to the blog and see what the rest of the team have made :) See you again soon

What a fun stamp! Avery was sure excited to see it. :)

Now onto my project for today
I had so much fun making this card as the image is so cute

I used loads of designs from my cameo and even made the card blank from it! The image was coloured with copics;

R81, R83, R85
B000, B00, B02
R20, R22
C1, C2, C3, T1, T3

The papers were all from my scarab box - The balloons were cut on the cameo once again from scraps and I added the twine to look like real string from the balloons :)

Hey all, I have been so rubbish at trying to keep you all up to date I know, June this year is very busy for me - Hubby and I have our church blessing in just under three weeks time so were trying to put the final arrangements in there as well as plan Amelia's 6th Birthday! Time is running away with me! I cant believe were 6 months into the year!

Any way I'm here to quickly share a very quick card I made for the SBS facebook challenge! Its a fab challenge to play along with and the images are just adorable!

The theme for this challenge was black, white, orange and yellow - I have to say I really struggled with yellow and orage embelishments and papers :) The image was coloured with copics and the card blank and matting shape cut from my cameo :)
I hope you like her :)

country boy....

Morning all, I'm finally back with you today! I know its been so long and I have had such withdrawal from everything crafty and blogland - but family and life had to take a bit of time from me :)  Had a lovely time away with the whole family - but glad to be home at the same time!!
So I'm here to share with you today a lovely PND image called Country boy Owen, he is available from the shop here.
Now I will confess that I made this one a while ago - so all I can really remember is that it was loads of pens and lots of stash!

I just think he is total adorable and perfect for any little man in anyone's life :)
I promise you all I will be back soon and may have a surprise up my sleeve :)
Hugs
