Ewe are SO Sweet!

Morning, how are we?  Sorry I didn't get to post much over the weekend, the weather was too lovely and I did 13 loads of washing... unlucky for some hey?  Well I have managed to get a little bit crafty since, not felt like it much and with Nancy choosing to 'water my flowers' and no I'm not talking the ones in the garden, my lovely box of paper flowers... luck for me I have a very understanding husband who has allowed me to replace them on his credit card.... Roll on tomorrow when they arrive!

Anyway, I did do some browsing around blogland and came across this very cute freebie over at A Day For Daisies, its one image i just copied pasted and flipped it! I thought she was so cute!

and so I had to make a card with her, when I saw their challenge I thought I had to give it a go and so I did....

The lambs were coloured using copics

W2, W3
B97, B95, B93

and then distressed using Tim Holtz Vintage photo. It was originally around the edges till my hand slipped and went right across the image and so I filled it all in!

I didn't know what sort of sentiment to add, and so I printed this from my computer and distressed it the same.  The papers are from BoBunny Weekend Market 6x6.  Well I can't say much more, I hope you like this card, I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

A Day For Daisies - Go Vintage and add Polka Dots
Heart to heart - Polka Dots and Stripes
The Pink Elephant - Polka Dots and Stripes

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Believe in your Dreams....

Well I would if I could make as many cards as the images I colour!

Yes today I have realised that I am obsessed with colouring, if only I had half the get up and go I have to colour to actually make cards, my draws would be less cluttered!

I noticed today while cleaning that I have two draws full of images that I have coloured, half of them I have coloured, I'm happy with, but I will never do anything more with them... Think I need to home them with my mum... she's good at putting things together!

Anyway I have put one together and I do plan on doing a few more tonight! if my pens don't sidetrack me! This is the last one from the A day For Daisies new release that I have coloured up this week.  There is another one or two that I haven't printed yet, so they will be done hopefully next week!

The paper is from my stash and the flowers are the ribbon flowers I purchased last week!  I added the rhinestones to follow the lines on the paper.  As you can see we have some washi tape in the corner... Oh how surprising!  I distressed around the image using TH inks.
Just some close-ups of the flowers and the sentiment! Also a strange angle of the card, just cause I felt like it!

Ok so I was so impressed with my colouring I had to take a close up, I am so happy with the hair colour again! She was coloured up with my copics

E000, E00, R20, B000, Y35 and Y38.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

PaperMinutes -  Newest Stamp
Digital Tuesday - Distressed
Can You Digi It - Photo Inspiration

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

Pearls in my Hair

Only me AGAIN! yes I'm on a bit of a mission, have a poorly little girl snuggled up on the sofa, so I am making the most of the peace and quiet and catching up with all the posting I need to do!

This is another image from the A Day For Daisies latest release Birds in my Hair.  As you know I was excited with the last image and I was just as excited about this one! and I used one of my new sketch markers! This is one I have made for a friend of mine, it was her birthday yesterday and i hope to pop it though her letter box today, just hope she docent see this post before I have dropped it through!  This is Pearls in my Hair...

Such a simple and elegant image! I loved it from the moment I saw it! I didn't know what colours and so i just picked BG57 and BG49, you can't see the darker areas too well in the photos but it does look good.  I colour her hair with Y35 and Y38, I do like this combo for hair at the moment! and I tried once again to add the light into her hair, i still need quite a bit of practice with that one!

The paper was a 12x12 in my stash, I believe it was an Echo Park paper, I just thought the colours went well, the tag that says 'a walk in the park' was taken from the other side of the paper.  I also used some more beautiful washi tape! I am obsessed with the stuff at the moment! I LOVE it and hope that my collection will keep on growing!

The sentiment stamp is from LOTV.  and the ribbon flowers were in my ribbon stash, I have had a few of them for a while and never had the guts to use them... I think I kinda like them now!

The birds were coloured using E33 and E35I added some stickles in her hair, although they should be pearls I coloured them as berries to make them stand out a bit! I think I will make sure I colour them as pearls next time! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Love to Create - Friends
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Made Especially For you - Three Flowers

Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear what you think if you have a moment!

Hope to see you again soon

Birds in my Hair

Morning!
Oh hasn't it turned cold! Its raining today, and I had to do the school run with both kids! Left Nancy in the car outside the school, ran Amelia in and ran back to the car! Well I have been busy but not as busy as normal... haven't been feeling too creative! Had the party(s) over the weekend and thankfully the weather stayed dry! It was pretty cold thought! Anyway I'm here to share a card with you - at last I hear your cry!

This is the beautiful Braid in my Hair, the new release over at A Day for Daisies.
I saw these image add i just HAD to have them!

I used lots of bits and pieces that I found on my big clear up last week! I found the ribbon flowers  still in their packet... the paper... well that was buried at the bottom of a box, I never really liked it before, but last night it just worked!   I also used some of my yummy Washi Tape... Oh how I love that stuff at the moment, I have a few rolls!

I used my Bazzill Jewel template and some of my rhinestones just to add some bling.  I also found some small bows that I forgot I brought - They fit so well with this image!

Heres the image up-close! I tried to give the sleeves a sheer look.. think I need to try a bit more!! Not to happy with the way I have coloured the birds either! But I can't wait to try this one again! I have coloured loads up and hope to be on a Making Mission this next week.. so watch this space.  Before I go I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;
