Halloween SMASH*ed

Afternoon! How are we all? Well I have been busy here - got so much that I want to do but the cold is holding me back - much better than i was yesterday - so fingers crossed another early night I will run on full power again! So its been SOOO long since I did a SMASH* page - I lost all get up and go with it a long time back - I was going to sell all my stuff but I didn't - and a week or so ago I suddenly got the urge to do a page!

So yes I'm still running in halloween mode - Im so loving all creepiness at the moment - although spiders still freak me out! So I decided to SMASH* Nancy's first Halloween (yes I know that was 2 years ago!) but the photos have been sat here and needed something doing with them! 

All the die cuts were what a good friend Anda from Crafty Fresian sent me - you need to pop over and see her stuff - she has some wonderful creations! 

I had to use the gorgeous Little Witch Ariel available here from SImply B Stamps.  Now cause I have her as a digi I flipped her, made her smaller and merged her in pages and then printed them off - they were coloured with copics and then just glued in! 

Now there is a funny story about the 'too cute to spook' - now I am quite stingy sometimes and I had kept the top of the 'Too Cute to Spook' paper I purchased from Simply B Stamps  - I have no idea why then when doing these pages it dawned on me to cut it down and use it! So yes - Now I have started to keep the names off some of my 12x12's cause they can be used! Well I hope you like my pages I would like to enter them into the following challenges;

30 Page Smash #2 Favourite Animal

Evening, well been a busy day! Was planning on crafting but ended up sorting the conservatory out... we unpacked about 9 boxes, put 5 in the loft and now you can see my garden from my lounge! So happy with how it went, although I could have gone to bed at about 6pm! Anyway I have managed to do page 2 of the 30 page SMASH* challenge and Im quite impressed with myself! even if it is another double page! LOL

Yes some of you may have guessed after my little 'share it on sunday' post as I did drop the hint... Now if it had of said Insect it would have been all about butterflies! saying that mine may end in 31 pages as butterflies deserve a spot... or maybe thats the next book! Oh yes, I'm enjoying this SMASH*ing! 

I just fell in love with the paw prints and had to have them somewhere in the pages(s)! The printable note pad looking pages were from here.  I just had to use them, I added the detail in the corner from the set.

well OK so I'm a bit bias... Although I love big cats and small cats, the only small cat in my life is my smudge cat!

30 page SMASH* #1 - Yourself

Afternoon, well Amelia just gone for a sleepover to Auntie Kathy's so just got Nancy tonight! Hopeful that she will have a nice early night and I can craft - oh and have a curry... nom nom! I have been crafting on and off today as well as once again spending too much time on the internet... If anyone can help me, when up-loading photos it keep coming up with that I have run out of storage... any ideas?! I have just paid to up-grade for a year... but surely its so frustrating!!!

Anyway...  Page one of 30 Page SMASH* - Yourself!

Well I did a ME page the other day, so I did it about my star sign... LEO.  Now i was looking up some information and I came across this... I highlighted all there appropriate words... Its so ME! 

I did want this page to be the big grande opening for 30 page SMASH* but it turned into a bit of a muddle! and me! LOL... the more I look at it the better it looks!

SMASH*ed House!

** EDIT - I started typing this post yesterday and only just finished it! LOL**

Afternoon! Well I said I would be back! Just listed a few bits on e-bay and then took the photos of my latest SMASH* page.  I was on a  roll yesterday, even planned the page after this... but then became distracted by Facebook! Oh I'm so easily distracted!  So yes the next page in my SMASH* book was the house, and I even added a few details! 

The pictures are not the best as I have played with them on a application on my phone, but I think they look good! Behind each photo is another photo... I thought I was rather cleaver as the one behind the front of the house is the back garden! behind the picture of the tree is our bed covered in clothes and hangers! and the bottom photo is of Pinewood Studios! I have done and then and now as it has all changed! 

We are so fortunate with where we live, not only do we have two beautiful parks that we can walk around but Nature reserves and Pinewood Studios, there is so much history here! I have been looking into the history around here as I like to know where I live plus just down the road is where my mum was born!

Happy Easter and My Big Idea!

Morning all, Happy Easter! Hope we have all eaten lots of chocolate!! I had a bit but not feel in quite in the chocolate mood today....  

Ok so I don't want to eat it but I will share this yummy picture... LOL.  

Ok so as you have all seen I have been doing quite a bit of SMASH*ing recently and I am thoroughly enjoying it, Its nice as I feel its so relaxed, I would recommend anyone to try it, not matter how creative you are or not in my case.  I have always struggled with scrapbooking, want it to be more than what I can make it, so SMASH*ing seems so right for me!  

Anyway over on Facebook there is a group of SMASH*aholics - such lovely people and grate inspiration.  One of the ladies came up with a little idea of a 30 page challenge, no rush all at your own pace and I have decided that Im going to try, sometimes its the inspiration thats needed.  

So here is the list;

I have decided as I'm not too confident I will be doing this in the book that I have started but hopeful of giving it a 'Grande' opening. although its not as grande as I thought I would make it, but I will be back later to share!

SMASH*ing ME!!!

Morning! Up bring and early today... well for me and to say its school holidays! I don't like mornings... but it appears that I slept rather well and I'm up! Yesterday while mark was boarding the loft I did a bit of SMASH*ing, I'm quite enjoying it and have a few things planned, but I'm waiting for a few bits to arrive at the moment! 

So yes after SMASH*ing the gils and Mark, I did me a page.. once again I am still waiting on a few bits to arrive to finish it off but I think I still have a bit of a wait on my hands for those and so I will share my page now! 

When I saw this page in the book the work 'splendiferous' just had to stay.. I like it! The photo is me at Nancy's christening, one of the better photos of me recently, well 18 months ago! Yes the good old take That symbol had to go in there too, the SMASH* book is cause thats what I like right now! The word cloud was done using Tagxedo, Im so LOVING that at the moment!  Got a few ideas I want to try with it over the next week! 

Here is the other page... Copica from Saturated canary just had to make it in there and I used my pen and an unsteady hand to add the doodles... Disney Princess... Well I can dream can't I!? i LOVE Disney Princesses and the Copic logo just had to make an appearance....the ribbon at the top was... well A to fill a gap, but I love my ribbons so much, I have 6 jars so I thought they should be there too!

SMASH*ed Husband?!

No its not as bad as it sounds, I promise!  Its been a horrible day today, weather is rubbish and the poor kids have been stuck inside all day, they are bouncing off the walls, Im so glad tea time has finally come about and i have about 20 mins peace while they eat! Than I will be putting them in their PJ's, warm milk, A film and BED! Oh bring it on.  

Ok so its not been a completely unsuccessful day, I have managed to tidy up the little craft space and clear out all the odd bits.  Given the kids loads of half coloured prints and stuff to colour, although the attention spans have been rather short! But they have helped me with my latest SMASH* page all about hubby Mark. 

now I was going to wait on some Washi tape that I order mainly for his page but I just wanted to do something... It still has bits to be added but till they arrive I can't add them! Lets hope snail mail bring them this week! 

As you can see, Mark is into Motorbikes and Music, that is man!  Im quite happy with how it turned out, I will add some charms and the tape when they arrive.  I think my favourite part is the small music sheet with the guitar head, it worked so well!  the stamp is from Stampin Up, I brought it a year or so ago, I love making the stamp look like its moving! Well I hope you like the page, not much more I can say about it! I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

SMASH*ing Nancy

Evening! well yes I confess, was meant to get the last post finished this morning but time ran away and I had to go out wedding dress shopping with my sister, it was a successful day, we chose her dress, my dress and the girls dresses... So yes I think that was good! 

Well since I have been home I have been busy with another SMASH*ing project.  While Kathy was trying on all the dresses (you know that in-between boring bit) I suddenly had this itch to be SMASH*ing, it was all coming together in my head.... I could see it! I saw the light! OK thats a bit excessive! 

My little Nancy May, I kinda feel I want to do Amelia's page again, as this page seems better than hers! I put her name, time and weight, I also looked up the meaning of her name as well as some information about the name Nancy. I used some yummy wash tape I have as well as pages from the SMASH* family pad.  I had to use these photos of her, as she looks so happy in the one on the right, the one on the left is her pulling a funny face! She always does that when the camera comes out!  Anyway, I actually made the photos pockets as I was running out of space to put stuff.... 

I was so impressed with myself for this one! I had to use the lovely digi from Saturated Canary, she was coloured with copics. Its so much like her with the dummy in the mouth, oh and she loves her milk.  I also HAD to add Toy Story, she is obsessed with the films! She has to watch one of them once a day otherwise we have withdrawal symptoms! She sits under her blanket, with her Bo bo (dummy) and muzzy and milk and watches it all the way through! 

Im so happy with how this has turned out! I hope you like it too! I still have a few finishing touches to add, but I need my Cricut to do it.  I want to add some words about the page that describe her as well as her favourite word 'OK'! A is For Amelia.... SMASH*ing

Morning, well yes its now 00:28 according to the time on my computer, I feel like today has been a long day.. Tomorrow will be even longer, I'm wedding dress shopping with my sister and its the 1st proper day of the Easter Holidays! Oh the Joys!!! 

Well i'm here to share with you my latest bit of SMASH*ing... I have to say I am rather impressed with these pages, in my litre world A is not for..

Apple, Aeroplane, Acrobat... My A if for 

Amelia! 

Yes I have smashed a page all about my big girl and Im so happy with the way it has turned out!!! 

Now she is obsessed with the film Tangles, she wants the clothes, the dolls, the music the lot... and now she even wants hair just like Rapunzel... You can imagine my JOY when Krista Smith of Saturated Canary released this digi... I felt that I HAD to have her there and then, I impatiently waited the e-mail with the image.... BUT THEN.... I had no Ink! But hubby as many of you know saved the day! 

I do love the digi, I can colour her time and time and time again... and Im planning on so be warned!!! I can see her cropping up time and time again now! I coloured her with copics and Spectrum Noirs (I'm getting used to them now! LOL!)

I also purchased a SMASH* Pad, the family one, didn't know what to expect... but I was so happy when it turned up! SO many lovely pages inside, I can't wait to do the rest of the family!!! I also used some of my yummy wash tape (I so NEED more!) Just felt... well I'm not sure really!!! I also included Amelia's 'Wishes' on this page, she wants to be a ballerina, as well as have hair like Rapunzel and be a Princess.... I can live with all of those! 

Heres the pages with her photo, she looks so adorable here, this was on a family day out last year, her hair is longer now but this showed her curls off.  In the top corner there is the story of her Nicknames(s)... she was called BB when I was pregnant with her, it stood for Baby Benton, now she is Milly Monkey... and yes she lives up to it!

SMASH*ing Pages 2 and 3

Morning, only me! 

Well I went to my SMASH* book and realised that or these pages I didn't need to print... I had done page two... so just needed to finish page three, well I planned it the other night and so it was quite easy! 

As page 2 was full of lines, I wrote more details about me and the family, Amelia went though a stage of separation anxiety and so I always told her that mummy will always be here, and I will always come back, I still tell her now and so I had to finish the page with that.. 

Ohhh look at the wash tape, I love it, I only ordered a couple of rolls and so i think I need to order some more now! 

Can think of so many uses for it!! The metal words were brought from e-bay ages ago and I just wanted to use them up!!

(Trying) SMASH*ing again!

Morning all, well its been a beautiful few days and today the weather is horrible! chilly and grey and the cows are laying down so looks like rain is on its way!! 

We had our 1st BBQ of the 'season' yesterday, we have some friends who are emigrating and so they came for dinner, was so lovely to see them before they go! We hope that one day we will have the money to go and visit them! Till then there is Facebook and Skype! 

Well the title of this post says it all.... once again I have tried SMASH*ing... Yes I have actually brought a smash book and done the 1st page! not 100% happy with it but... I have tried and I have plans for the next few pages, just waiting for the ink to arrive!! That will hopefully be here today! 

Not too bad, I wanted to try and 'use the page', but I don't think it quite worked! 

I fell in love with the digi from Saturated canary called 'Smashy Bob', she's a bit like me with the short hair!! 

A number of people have laughed at the comments I wrote around her! I can dream that one day I will have a waist that small can't I? 

The day that I did this page it sprung to mind as I wrote the date that hubby and I had been together 7 years 9 months! Time has flown by, it only feels like yesterday we met! The boy and girl thing... well I call him boy and he calls me girl! Yes I know were MAD, but someone has to be! 

Oh... the interesting part! LOL.... All my money goes on crafting, although I never have much as i'm a Stay At home Mum! But all I need is LOVE from my family! 

Ok so I now feel better that I have publicised this page (NOT!), I'm hopeful that the next few pages will turn out better!! I do have some plans... that I think will work!

SO I tried Smash*ing.....

Yes I know, I have to try it all, I wanted to try and post this last night but it was far too late!! I have see so many people doing this and have wanted to try for a while.  I got chatting to a friend yesterday who was very helpful and encouraged me no end!! So a BIG THANK YOU to Casper!.

Theres not much to show you on it.  as I don't have a journal (yet) I just used an A4 piece of paper and covered it with some pretty 12x12 I had! I have some ideas on what I want to do with my next one... That won't be for a few days though, lots of work to do! I did do a bit of looking on the net for words, I was rather surprised to discover that butterflies were known as witches, but its each to their own.  Anyway I introduce to you....

So... I know not the best, but for a first attempt I'm quite pleased.  Im hopeful to have a journal before we go away because I know how inspirational this holiday is going to be.... I can't tell you too much more about this page as there is nothing to say...
