This weeks Challenge has been set by Gloria, and we have all used a lovely free image called 'Wildflower Bouquet'. It was such fun working with the image, from the moment I saw it I knew just what I wanted to do with it, Its one of those images that has endless possibilities!
So if you would like to join us over at Theres Magic in the Air this week, I best tell you a bit more about the challenge! Not only do we want to see the free image on your creation we would also like to see cards that are different shapes and with lots of texture!
Lets start by telling you what the prize is.
This week the winner can choose 2 images from the Paper Cupcakes Store!

Lets start by telling you what the prize is.
This week the winner can choose 2 images from the Paper Cupcakes Store!
So here is what I came up with!
I have made it for a friend of mine who is blind so I made sure it has texture, I feel that is the only way she can 'imagine' what it is, so I printed the image 3 times. there is the base layer, the flowers are one layer, the ribbon is 2 layers and the bow is 3 deep.
When I gave it to her I described the colours that I had used, although the card stock used doesn't look it, it is actually textured too!
I decided for a 'shaped card' I would 'cut away' the corner, once i knew what I wanted to do with the image, I felt limited to the shape I could use. But cutting the corner away added more to the card for my friend to feel. I also added layers of the papers used to layer the card on to the inside of the card so she could touch it.
This photo shows the layers, I coloured all three layers using my pro-markers. The flowers were coloured with Bluebell, Lavender and Lilac, and the bow with Powder Blue and Pastel Blue, I used Leaf Green for the stems. I cut the 'bunch' of flowers out and mounted them with sticky pads, I did bend the flowers and bow to add some shape.
I also added rhinestones to the middle of all the flowers, just to add a bit of sparkle for anyone else that looks at it! my friend loved to touch these as they are 'shaped' and not smooth!
Where I layered the card stock on the inside I wrote the words 'Birthday Wishes' with my peel offs, where the image sat slightly too high i decided to 'curl' the corner for effect (it was really so you could see the greeting, but it looks good!).
So there we have it, I hope that you will join us over at 'theres Magic in the Air' this week, if you would like to see more for the design team you can see all their creations over on theres Magic in the Air!
I cant wait to see your creations!
