Friends are Angels....

Me again! Yes I know, I have been on a mission, need to make the most of the kids being outside while the nice weather lasts, I wish it would last for the whole 6 weeks... Don't know what I'm going to do when it starts pouring! Anyway since I have been home I have managed to make a card... and I'm in the process of the second one! I missed my pens so much, it was lovely to get home and now since I have moved a lot of my stuff into the lounge I hope to craft more!!!

Now I apologise for the poor photo - only just managed to wipe all the photos from the camera and the light is not on my side to be taking photos at the moment! But this is the beautiful Fancy from Saturated Canary

She is so stunning and so wonderful to colour, the image was coloured with copics

Skin; E000, E00, E02, R20, R83
Hair, E55, E57, E59
Dress and Ribbon;  BG49, BG57, BG18 with a touch of Black Prisma Pencil
Roses; R20, R22

The sentiment is from a clear set of stamps that seem to no longer have a packet and the flourish is cut from a Memory Box die, as it was cut from white paper I coloured it using my BG57 to tie it all in.  The papers are from my stash, I'm not sure what ones as they were loose! Well not bad to say I haven't touched pens for over a week - I can't wait to colour her again! Well I hope you like my card, I would like to enter this into the following challenges;

Classy Cards and Such - Die Cuts (Down the side of the image)
Inspire Me Fridays - Anything Goes
Do You Stack Up - For A Friend (the sentiment says 'friends are angels without wings)

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!
Hugs

The Catch Up!

Morning all - well it has taken me this long to try and get myself back to reality - swear I need a holiday to recover from the last one! Well this is going to be a quick post with a few photos! Thought I would share with you some of the amazing time we had....

Nancy loved the shower by the pool... I have no idea why... it was blooming cold!

Amelia LOVED the pool - every morning she couldn't wait to get in there!

... yes... thats and Amelia splash... no fear!

I have to say this was the highlight of the holiday... we (Amelia and I) got to touch dolphins... I still want to swim with them but just being able to touch and listen to them was amazing.

We also got to watch the dolphin show... what amazing mammals these are - I can't wait to go back and see them again maybe next year!

Just the few photos sum up the whole holiday, I loved every minuet of it and hope one day we will do it again.  When we got home we had another new arrival to the family... we have some caterpillars that I brought for the girls to pass the summer... I will be back in a few days with some photos and news on them.. I can't wait to see them turn into butterflies! Well I have some bits to do... and A card to share really soon... I'm off to catch up

x

OK so the challenge this week is Birthday Girls. Now I have been really into doing these frames recently and have big plans to try and do one for a little boy! That will be exciting! But after a friend saw my frame that I had done for a friend she asked me for one - I couldn't help but say yet.  I asked her what it was for and it was for her friends birthday!  SO it fits with this challenge really well!!!

I dud use the fab Tagxedo program again to make the inside pretty - although I know she was going to add a photo to the frame before giving it to her friend!

The flowers are from WOC - oh how I love my flowers - there is this part of me thank wants and needs to use them but also I want to love them and never be apart from them - sad I know but I think if I use them I can but more!

Over all the flowers I used stickles just to add some sparkle - It really brings out the detail and colour on them!

I also used my lovely MS butterfly punch available here.   I love this punch so much as its so quick and day to use!

Well I hope you like my creation and that you will join us this week with our challenge at MMCS Challenge! See you there soon!

Ooh La La Creations is offering you any 1 of their CDs!
We live in France. My daughter and I design the CD's. I started crafting about 20 years ago with glass painting and decorated furniture then started making cards for friends and family. We decided to design our own CD's as there was not much craft materials around when we moved here. We use living Artists for all of our CD's now and have recently shown our CD's on Create and Craft TV

Well this was not easy for me - I toyed and played and couldn't come to any ideas I was happy with and this fell together late last night!

The image is from La La Lands Crafts and it was coloured with copics.  The papers are form my stash and so were the flowers, ribbon and pin.  The sentiment is from Lili Of the Valley! Now over at the TTT blog this week we have some fab guest designers and amazing tips from the team - so please pop over and take a look!

See you soon!

My Mums Craft Shop Challenge 65 - No Cards Allowed

Morning! Well what a week, and not long till I go on holiday now - oh I am so looking forward to some sun! anyway what fab entries we had to the colour inspiration challenge last week over at My Mums Craft Shop! Thenk you to everyone that joined and and a big well done to the winner! Pop over to the blog to see if you won!!!

Anyway, this weeks challenge was a little bit strange for me, I didn't know where to start.... this weeks challenge is

NO cards allowed!

Well I haven't spread my wings much more recently other than cards - not had too much time and with the teeth playing up as they have been cards have not been a priority! But I sat and I thought! A month or so ago I wanted to make a special gift for one of Amelias friends from ballet.  I used the wonderful Tagexdo to create a word cloud in the shape of ballet shoes.  I brought the frame and its just been sat there.  I finally got the get up and go to get it done, when I put the word cloud in it looked OK but rather boring.... then I sat and thought....

Out came the punch, out came the flowers and I created the above!  I was so happy with how it turned out.  I never thought I would make something that looks so pretty! What was better was the look on the little ones face when she opened it, she was stunned and couldn't wait to get it on her bedroom wall!

The flowers are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts and some from my stash, I used silicone to stick them on and once dried I added stickles over the top to add shine! The butterflies were punched from my Marther Stewart Punch available here.

This is the arrangement in the top corner from the other angle.  Everyone that has seen it has commented on it and has asked me if I will do one for them.... Im thinking about it - although they don't take long, i'm not sure if I like using so many flowers at once! I am however in the process of doing two or three for Amelia's School Teachers - I can't believe that she will be in Year One starting September!

Anyway before I go I would like to enter this frame into the following challenges;

Catch the Bug - Anything Goes
Di's Digi Designs - Pile on the Flowers
Moving Along with the Times - Make it Sentimental

Thanks for stopping by, I do hope if you have time you will tell me what you think! Hope to see you soon!

Get Well Soon

Morning! Yes I have been so quiet this last week - still in pain with my teeth, they are not as bad but I am still having problems with one side - and they have now told me that I will need to have my wisdom teeth removed under general anaesthetic - SO not looking forward to that - all I know is that it 'should' be in the next 18 weeks :(

Anyway I'm not here to talk about me! As you can imagine I have found it hard to find time to craft partly due to lack of sleep - but also as it hurts to look down.  I have been doing little bits here and there as that is all I have been able to do - so things have been very simple!

Anyway one thing that I have managed to do is to make a get well card for a friend of mine - she was rather poorly and we were all worried about her.  So I made her a card - I didn't want it to scream 'Get Well Soon' as sometimes I don't think its what people want.  So I went rather plain and simple

The image is Sarah Kay 'Spring is Back' available here.  I completely forgot that I had this stamp stashed away - it was only because I purchased one a few weeks back that I started looking in my stash and came across her!  She was coloured with copics - due to 'the teeth' I haven't been taking many notes of what I'm using!

I die cut the image using a spellbinders Lacey Ovals available here.  I have to say that I think this set of dies was one of the best purchases of 2012! I LOVE them and they just make such a difference to any creation!

The butterfly is die cut from Die-namics Butterfly Die available here.  Again this is another of my favourite dies at the moment, I have boxes with these pre cut so I they are ready when I want them!

Well I hope you like my card! while I remember I still have candy running and would love for as many of you as possible to join in, please take a look here.  There are more bits added - just not had time to take the photo - there are now two rubber stamps as well as an ink pad and all that you see - and if I make it to 250 followers a gift voucher will also be included!!! So please take a look!

Before I go I would like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Addicted to Stamps - For Someone Special
Lets ink It Up - All Girls
That Craft Place - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by - I would love to hear what you think if you have a moment! Hope to see you again soon!

and the challenge is.....  This week we have a photo to be used as colour inspiration

Now I know my photography skills are not grate, but neither is the weather, I took this photo four times before it remotely looked any good - oh where has the sunshine gone?!

The image is from Saturated Canary I coloured her with copics.  The die cut is a Memory Box die, and the butterfly punch is MS available from here at My Mums Craft Shop. The papers are from My Minds Eye.  Here is a better photo of the image - I did have to cheat and 'lighten' the photo!

Well I hope you like her and that you will join us this week over at My Mums Craft Shop Challenge Blog, I cat wait to see everyone else's creations!

See You Soon

I was chuffed to bits when I was asked to be here today! I couldn't believe it! and then I decided that I was going to 'try' and be cleaver and 'make' him move - well I think it kind of payed off!  The image was coloured using copics - Now since I have been suffering with the tooth while doing most of these recently I haven't taken notes!

I thought he needed to look like he was on the track and so I drew it in with pencil and then coloured it in with the pens.  I then added the sky in using pens too! Well Im so glad you have stopped by, now you must pop over to Lea and her fab creation!

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!
